I booked a deluxe double single occupancy. Room was size of a small double with a small standard double bed. Very basic. Apparently they consider it deluxe because it is at back of hotel and quiet! Evening meal was average but fair value. Breakfast was quite nice and generous. I liked the comfortable lounge. Not good value really.

this is a wonderful, friendly, clean Hotel. The staff could not do enough for you. The Manager was a hands on person, and made us very welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Although we had booked for two nights, unfortunately we had to pull out after one night as my husband was unwell. The Manager was very sympathetic and... More

Located very near the station, the junction venue, main solicitors, botanical gardens and comprising a range of knocked together terrace houses, leaving the inside to be a bit of a rabbit warren. 15 minute level walk into town. Traditional style hotel rather than a modern box. Known this hotel over the last 9years and last stayed thee April 2015. Ask... More

I was staying here only one night for a meeting. The organisation had this as a preferred hotel as it was nearby. Overall the staff were lovely and helpfull and the food was good value for money. However the room was relatively small for the price, perhaps a bit dates, and the window didn't close properly enabling a breeze across... More

I was in Cambridge for a week for work at Addenbrookes so this hotel was reasonably priced and about 20minute walk to the hospital. Also suitable to walk to town centre. The rooms are small and breakfast average. But suitable for a short business stay. The team were very friendly. Ask for a newer room if you are there for... More

Stayed for a two night midweek break. The staff (especially the Italian young lady on reception) were very friendly and helpful. We had a quiet room at the rear of the hotel, which is ideally placed for the station and viewing the sites as long as you don't mind a bit of a walk. One big plus point is the... More

We stayed at the Centennial for one night and found it to be very good value for money. The staff are friendly, willing to help, interested in you and overall professional at what they do. The room, whilst small was perfectly adequate for a short stay and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a good size and well cooked,... More

Cambridge is not well known for quality hotel accommodation at a fair price. This hotel has had a bit of a makeover since I last stayed. It has lovely staff in the downstairs restaurant and very helpful owners. The building though is a bit of a rabbit warren. I was in a third floor room and had to climb 30... More

This hotel is well placed both for the railway station and walking to city centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful, however I would concur with other reviews that it is wise to ask for a room away from the main road. It did not help that Cambridge drew with Man United one night I was there. The night... More

Generally a lovely stay, although it was a wee bit hot in the room. You couldn't swing a cat in there, but who cares? It's a well-priced hotel in the centre of town. The key selling point is that the service is wonderful - there is real warmth in everything any of the staff do - and that was tested... More
