We spent 2 nights at this hotel after our normal hotel in Cambridge was full. Having stayed in many Crowne Plazas around the world I can say this is like them all, having the same feel, room quality with the fittings you would expect. The whole hotel has a very new feeling and the entrance atrium is impressive and airy.... more

I spent one night at the Crowne Plaza in Cambridge. This was my first trip to the UK and the staff here were excellent. My co-worker and I ran into a number of minor issues and the staff were great in answering our questions. The hotel itself is quite lovely. It has a great location with close proximity to the... more

On our Palm Sunday weekend trip to Cambridge, England, we stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. It was right in the center of town with colleges a block or two away in two or three directions and only two blocks to the City Market and a 10 minute walk from the Cam River and King's College chapel. We walked from... more

Incredibly noisy room (thin walls), minimal natural light, and an awful view. Terrible bed linens and old mattresses. The staff woke us in the wee hours of a Saturday morning, doing their minibar-replacement rounds. The perks are a very nice shower and an excellent location. Like most hotels and restaurants in England, fantastically overpriced given the level of service. more

Stayed 1 night in May and found hotel really good. Check in took 5 minutes and they park your car for you. Nice room with 2 double beds and everything you will need, slightly dated room but was fine. The location of the hotel is great literally 5 minutes walk from Kings Parade and Trumpington. Breakfast was great and so much... more

I managed to get a double room with breakfast for £50, so I'd be hard pushed to have any complaints about the hotel. I got my deal via lastminute, and if anyone can get it for that price I'd certainly recommend snapping it up. Location is very central, the concierge parking was great (£15 from about 3pm to 10am the... more

The first impression was not good - I arrived early and asked if I could leave my bags until check in. The guy on the desk, did not smile, make eye contact, say hello or offer to help me. The rooms are fine and they have free wifi everywhere which is great. The rooms are pleasant, comfortable, clean and reasonably... more

We booked this trip on last minute .com and took a chance with the secret hotel option £50 for a double room only. When we learnt that it was the Crown Plaza we read the recent reviews and expected a less than average 4 star hotel, our expectations were low and we planned to eat breakfast and dinner out. We... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on the 13th March for 2 nights. We were extremely lucky to get a room rate including breakfast of £50 per night for the two of us. Therefore this hotel exceeded our expectations by far for this amount per night. Room: Was very clean and they have tried to make it look... more

I took my wife here for a surprise weekend for her birthday. I contacted them ahead of time to ask whether I could arrange for a small gift to be delivered before we arrived and for them to put it in our room for me. They could not have been more helpful and when we arrived, not only had they... more
