We stayed at this inn for business reasons and will stay again to see more of buzzing Cambridge Checking in at the bar was swift and a really friendly welcome and during our 1 night stay everyone looking after us was really pleasant & professional Our spacious room was above the bar facing the main road. Stayed here last night as need a place in cambridge after a gig at he corn exchange. This was the cheapest lace I could find (at £110), it was a no frills room that was clean and tidy with lots of tea and coffee. Shower was really nice and the bed was comfy. Best bit however was breakfast, a proper... More

Convenient for the train station. Friendly staff. Lovely cooked breakfast. Fairly quiet considering it's on the main road. Rooms a fair size. Bathroom very grubby and could do with a deep clean. Found previous occupants used earbuds by the wash hand basin and toothpaste marks on the wall. Towels changed daily although old towels left in the room too. Convenient... More

The Earl of Derby is a great little place to stay if you want a spacious clean room for a small price. It is only a little walk from the city centre and the bar does some good food at reasonable prices. Perfect for a 1 night stay if you need a bed and good meal. Breakfast is included and... More

Being near the station, this B&B can be conveniently placed for the business traveller. The hearty breakfast is also a bonus if finding lunch is likely to be a problem during the next day. The room was spacious and well presented, although as with many hotels, there was faint and unusual odour. Generally, it was pretty quiet despite backing on... More

Spent a couple of days in Cambridge. It is close to the train station. and within walking distans to central Cambridge. They served an excellent English breakfast and we also had lunch there on the first day. The real ale was in good condition.

Stayed here for a night out in Cambridge. The pub is located close to the leisure park so is ideal for for cinema, bowling, music and restaurants. The room was quite comfortable but unfortunately there is substantial building work going on around the pub site and it can be quite noisy and busy. Breakfast was a bit of a nightmare... More

This combo hotel/pub seemed chancy when i reserved it for two days, but my family and I were more than satisfied with our stay there. Despite the pub in front and parking lot to the side, our room was very quiet both nights. The beds were really comfy, although not fancy, the bathroom and shower very well equipped, and the... I have to be honest. When researching hotels in Cambridge, I found the choice meeting my criteria to be very limited. The Earl of Derby, I'm afraid, represented a compromise and I didn't have high expectations. The reality was that I couldn't have chosen better. The place served my needs perfectly; close to the station, clean & comfortable rooms, and... More
