Easily the worst B&B I have ever stayed in. Stay well clear of this festering turd of an establishment! On arrival the manageress asked for cash up front which immediately started alarm bells ringing. We asked for a printed receipt because it was odd that this had been booked via booking.com and had taken our card details but we were... More

Amazing location right in town but very costly! The rooms are small and very inconvenient if you have luggage or need disability access (many stairs). The breakfast is a rip off - toast ham and cheese (not good if you are gluten free). Checkin and check out was efficient. No tv in the rooms and our kettle didnt work. Small... More

Firstly, beware an establishment which on check-in demands you pay for your stay immediately in cash up-front - even though they have your credit card details from the internet booking. This is what happened to me this week. When I questioned this and said I had no way of getting my hands on £340 cash at 10pm, the staff member... More

Rooms are on 2 levels, 1st floor is next to the toilets for customers of the bar, this is a lively very noisy bar that seems to be almost empty in daytime but then fills up late in the evening after the volume is cranked high after 9pm, i had a room on 2nd floor and even there the volume... More

We had spent a long time organising a work reunion with people flying in from Australia, Middle East, USA and Europe for the event. We booked well in advance of our weekend (which is not till July). A month or so after booking we all received emails saying that there had been a problem with their booking system and they... More

This is quite honestly the worst place I've ever had to lay my head. And I've braved low-rated hostels in some real armpits of the world. The establishment is first and foremost a nightclub. If you stay over on a Friday or Saturday be prepared to beat your way past puking youngsters and rude bouncers to make your way to... More

I am not sure how come it is allowed to advertise this place as a "Bed & Breakfast". It is first and foremost a club. Unfortunately my girlfriend and I spend the weekend there, where the club is open until 3 am. As we were on the 1st floor, and literally on top of the dance floor, it was nearly... More

I recommend that you never list them on your site: 1. They charged me twice for my booking and were unreachable by phone and they never reslied to my email. 2. The double room (no 5) only had space for a bed which one had to climb from the foot of the bed to get on to There was no... More

I booked a night at this place online. The booking confirmation said I needed to inform the hotel if I was going to check in after 11pm. As it happens, I did need to check in after 11pm so I rang them. No answer. Rang again. No answer. I rang about 20 times throughout the day without an answer. I... More

I visited the Castle on Saturday night with some friends, whilsy waiting at the Bar to get a drink the glass shelf holding wine glasses collapsed and the metal bar fell on mine and my friends head!!! This was dealt with very badly and just propped back up. No apology to start with until someone came over to us about... More
