The house has lost any kerb appeal ,with weeds growing through the gravel and along the parking area ,and broken fencing . Inside looks tired and it is obvious this place is run on a very tight shoestring . The Certificate of Employer Liability (a legal requirement)is 18 months out of date . The housekeeper is friendly and helpful and... More

I can't fault it. Lovely clean room, nice breakfast, wonderful staff who went out of their way. Excellent thank you. However a little far from the station but plenty of busses and taxis so it's not a problem. Thank you :)

Disappointed. .not the best looking place albeit clean. . Breakfast was a choice of cornflakes. Bran flakes.or muesli. .. Or fried egg on toast or scrambled. .. NO FULL ENGLISH..... reason for this..is shopping is done on a Monday..now we have run out of things.. The guy that runs it..is on minimum wage and is a lovely bloke and does... More

Lovely friendly welcome and warm room. Lovely layout, plenty of space and loads of hot water. Room could do with a coat of paint and a better bed as springs dug into me. A few light bulbs missing but wasn't a problem as bedside lamp was well placed. The breakfast was simple but tasty and again the chap provided great... More

Can't quite believe the good reviews of this place. Pebbled-dashed 1930s exterior in a depressing suburban area. Faded decor - crying out for an upgrade - last decorated 1985 I would guess. No double -glazing - road noise ++. My breakfast fruit salad was a chopped up banana and apple that was taken directly from the sad fruit bowl.

Friendly staff, good sized room but our bed was soft, squeaky and lumpy. The room was a good size and clean but needed refurbishment - starting with the bed. Breakfast had a bit of a fawltey towers feeling with instructions to nominate a 15 minute sitting time but we were the only people at our sitting. It was ok if... More

Would stay again as a "stop over". The guest house was basic but had everything we needed. Had a good night's sleep in a clean and comfortable room. The host was extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was basic but good.

This was almost a home-from-home, clean, comfortable and with a house manager who anticipated all of my needs. He (David) did the work of at least three staff - cooking, cleaning, reception - his willingness to help with my mobility problems by ordering take-aways, offering me breakfast in my room and popping to a local shop for me was fantastic.... A really good place to stay Clean rooms helpful staff and a really good night sleep. Not central to High Wycombe but easy access to M40. A good range of continental breakfast with some of the best coffee we have had in hotels for a while.

I stay here once a week for pretty much the last 18 months and it cannot be bettered for a B&B. Like the other reviewers say Deborah and Nav run this place like clockwork. Its spotless, warm and clean, everything you need for a simple, great value B&B.
