After a four hour drive I arrived to a lukewarm welcome, it felt like they wanted to grab my cash and get me out of the way. The place feels rather soulless, not much better than student digs. The bed was not Hypnos as described on the website, in fact it was a rather cheap mattress. Tiny TV. The tiles... More

I thought I was booking a hotel but it looked like a variation of a B&B. Good though. The staff on duty was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Cost is reasonable; the room clean and comfortable and breakfast adequate. Plenty of parking. Well worth considering for those who are passing through but you wouldn't want to be recreating in the property... More

On arrival it was obvious there were decorators at work by the amount of bodies that seamed to be around. It took the owner some time to answer the door as they tried to clear a way for us to get in. I am not critisizing anyone for decorating, Im giving our initial assessment. The door was opened and we... More

Owner was lovely friendly staff room was lovely and clean but bed needs changing as the mattress is old and saggy. Breakfast needs a lot of work as packet croissants and processed cheese isn't good first thing.

This place is a mediocre 3 star bed and breakfast at most. Alot of the decor needs attention, with cracks running through the walls and ceilings accompanied by unsightly stains. The mirror and soap shelf in the bathroom were rather rusty. The curtains in the bedroom fell down when drawn and the door hinge was unacceptably noisy. The television was... More

Thanks for your review. There is refurbishment going on at Malvern Guest house at the moment, so everything mentioned in regards to the decor is being taken care of. There's been a change of staff too as everything mentioned about the cleanliness comes down to the staff, the breakfast also is prepared by the staff and we are shocked to... More

The house has lost any kerb appeal ,with weeds growing through the gravel and along the parking area ,and broken fencing . Inside looks tired and it is obvious this place is run on a very tight shoestring . The Certificate of Employer Liability (a legal requirement)is 18 months out of date . The housekeeper is friendly and helpful and... More

I can't fault it. Lovely clean room, nice breakfast, wonderful staff who went out of their way. Excellent thank you. However a little far from the station but plenty of busses and taxis so it's not a problem. Thank you :)

Lovely friendly welcome and warm room. Lovely layout, plenty of space and loads of hot water. Room could do with a coat of paint and a better bed as springs dug into me. A few light bulbs missing but wasn't a problem as bedside lamp was well placed. The breakfast was simple but tasty and again the chap provided great... More

Can't quite believe the good reviews of this place. Pebbled-dashed 1930s exterior in a depressing suburban area. Faded decor - crying out for an upgrade - last decorated 1985 I would guess. No double -glazing - road noise ++. My breakfast fruit salad was a chopped up banana and apple that was taken directly from the sad fruit bowl.
