We stayed here on a Saturday night & had quite a mixed experience. While the rooms are very basic, dated and in need of renovation, the rest of the hotel is lovely, nicely decorated bar area, dining room and snug-with tv,which we had all to ourselves! The staff we came in contact with were all exceptional, we were looked after... More

Stayed as a couple on a Bed, Breakfast and Evening Meal deal (£110 for 2 people) – 13th Dec 2014 You could not fault the location and the character of the pub/restaurant. The welcome given was first class. The rooms are not in the original building, but a custom built annex attached. We had Room 2, which was a very... More

I booked on-line for an overnight business trip having looked at their website on-line. The rooms are the worst I have ever stayed in to the point had I not arrived so late in the evening from having been on the road since 04:30am I would have just left. As it was I didn't have a choice but to stay.... More

We stayed just one night as we were hospital visiting in nearby Marlow. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and drinks reasonably priced. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The downside was the bathroom which was in need of attention, very dated and we could not get the shower to work properly. The plus... More

I booked this hotel due to its proximity to High Wycombe. Staying all over the UK and Europe in differing standards of hotel, the Tree at Cadmore End is now possibly the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was very very tired, the bathroom needed pulling down and the decor old and dirty. The only saving grace... More

Room was clean, had a four poster bed and plenty of space and was good value. Highlight was the curry in the bar next door, good choice and simply the best curry I have had for a long time. It was delicious. Service from the staff must be highlighted as well, very pleasant without being OTT.

After turning up on the tree's sunday buffets at around 2:30 knowing that it closes at 3, expected there to be little food left but all the staff were all very helpful and refilled the dishes just for us. We were so grateful and so very hungry but soon our stomachs were full of tasty food. The food I must... More

This is a lovely country style pub that has shifted its focus to the restaurant. The truth is that the pub is pretty, well maintained and a bit quirky... modern bright furnishing with old beams... the truth is, if I went to have a pint and eat, I would leave pretty happy.. However I stayed for the night.. the difference... More
