We have stayed at the Tree several times over the last few years. The location for us is ideal, as it enables us to visit family who live nearby. It is certainly not a luxury hotel; in fact the rooms, and especially the bathrooms, look rather tired; although they are spacious and quiet, and the beds are comfortable. However the... More

First appearances were very good as was the interior of main building and restaurant. From there I am afraid it went down hill. All I can assume from other reviews here is that I ended up with one of their poorer quality rooms, which I found dismal, drab and dank. Cracked tiles in bathroom which had a white bath, pink toilet... More

Rooms are dumb. Rooms are only cleaned once a week. They only change the towels and tidy up the bed daily. Food is pretty much standard

Just visited the tree for a meal and left very un impressed. The food lacked seasoning and the red wine jus on my lamb shank may well have been coloured water. My guests duck was a minute portion and both of use resorted to having a dessert to try and fill us up. Won't be going back.

Stayed just one night whilst travelling on business - my PA booked via late rooms. I arrived at 21.20 and the kitchen had closed at 21.00 but they were extremely accomodating, immediately checking if I was hungry and offering me a table to eat. The food was very nice with a varied menu. My room was very spacious and the... More

My partner and I have recently returned from a stay at this hotel. It was very clean and our room was a really generous size. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We didn't have dinner but the menu looked really good. Breakfast was nice too, maybe some croissants and fruit might be nice but the cooked breakfast was really... More

We went to the resturant on a week night for a meal. The menu was really exciting and had a nice variety to it. The service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was extremely tasty and was also well presented. We shared a lovely dessert and a decent bottle of wine with the bill being... More

We visited with my mother on the Saturday before Mothers Day having been out for an afternoon drive around the lovely local countryside. The menu was tantalising and varied which did make choosing only one thing difficult. There were three of us and we did order different items, and did share - sorry, but the food was that good! I... Absolutely awful, do not go here and waste your money. You would be better venturing to the Kings Arms, Stokenhurch or Studley Garden Centre for £10 maximum. Hard potatoes and vegetables with mediocre service, not really much of a atmosphere either. On commenting to staff about the food/ price they shrugged shoulders not really the response you expect from a... More

Dear Colleen Thank you for taking out time to put a review in trip advisor. I would like to defend with the pricing and know for sure that Kings arms did £17.95 2 courses and £ 22.95 for 3 courses as it was " Mothers Day " and I am sorry if you expected our 2 course unlimited buffet to... More

Twenty of us from a classic car group descended onto the Tree at Cadmore for Sunday lunch. Buffet of two courses for £12.95. despite asking individuals to book, some did; some didn't. But the staff were wonderful in putting us all together in one area. The buffet is unusual with English soups and roasts, and Indian starters and mains, but... More
