after staying at the PI this weekend with my wife, mother & disabled father i have come away more stressed than when we arrived. The disabled facilities are disgusting, we had to park some way from the entrance to the PI then my father had to walk up a slope to the entrance, which is hard for him as he has trouble... More

I am truly a huge fan of Premier Inn, but not this one. Unbelievably and unbearably hot my entire stay. The room temperature showed 29 degrees permanently. Why the management insist on the windows opening only a crack I have no idea. Security on upstairs windows surely cannot be an issue. If a building is constructed with sufficient insulation, both... I stopped here having walked out of another hotel, and called ahead to PI to ensure there was AC in the rooms- being assured there was I gladly booked over the phone- there's a substantial set of stairs to get to and from the car park, so don't stay here if you're adverse to some exercise, and fortunately there is... First the car park. Ended up at the top of a steep hill. Couldn't help but notice all the warning signs about valuables in cars and the CCTV cameras. Not a great start. Friendly welcome from reception, followed by a very long walk to our room on the floor below; must be in the next County by now. On a... More

Ok, it's summer I get that but our room was unbearably hot even with the fan provided. The windows only open a crack, why? The lovely friendly cleaning team keep everything gleaming and the reception staff cannot do enough for you, but it is impossible to sleep in a stuffy room. So Lenny Henry, spend a night at this inn... More

Room booked on 19/7/14 as a treat for my children to go to legoland the following day. Room was hot on arrival with curtain shut and a fan switched on. Went out for tea thinking it would cool down but on arrival it was just the same if not worse. Approached receptionist who told us to sleep with damp towels!... More

Was meant to stay for 2 nights, but the 1st night banging kept my son awake so we didn't stay the 2nd night. Overall the room was very clean so was the bathroom, friendly staff, the food was good but the child's & adults portions are the same size and quite expensive for what we had.

We had a comfortable stay. Our bed was fantastic and our son was very comfortable too, we slept well. Very convenient having a bar/restaurant next to the hotel. Unfortunately no A/C or ventilation in the room was too hot.

Really enjoyed our stay here, very convenient for a quick stop off when travelling. Food was excellent, staff were friendly and the hotel was child-friendly. The rooms were also very clean. Would recommend this hotel.
