Stayed here with work mates for five nights (there were 8 of us). My room (6A) was perfect. Spotless and comfy, nice big shower cubicle, plenty of hot water and if you turned it up to full pressure was like a jet wash! Great! Flat screen tv with freeview channels. Clean towels every day Breakfast was good, plenty of choice.... More

I was met at reception by a rather brusque northern girl, who more or less barked her orders at me to fill in the register which was rather off putting before i got any further! the wood chip walls do rather date this place and when i got to my room i found they had 'upgraded' me to a double... When unable to book in at our regular B & B in High Wycombe, inspite of a couple of negative reports of situations that can happen in any hotel, we booked in at `Clifton Lodge`. We were not disappointed, our room consisted of lovely new oak furniture, the bed was very clean and comfortable which was a relief as my... More

From the outside we thought it looked a little dated but once through the door, the staff were efficient and gave prompt attention. The room (number 22) was on the first floor and looked as if it had been recently refurbished. It was spotless, the bed comfortable, great bathroom, lovely shower. Absolutely no complaints. I am a very bad sleeper... More

A good value hotel. The food was excellent and good portions. The rooms are quite small but ok for the odd night stop over, although they are badly in need of updating especially the bathroom, which was a bit grim. A struggle to get your luggage through the labrynth of extremely narrow corridors upstairs. A bar is advertised, but is... More

We arrived at the hotel, and stayed for one night, due to my son and I attending a football game in London. We were expected a quick place to sleep in for a night, but were delighted with the room. We stayed in Room 1A which is a nice, small room with a double bed and a tv with Freeview.... More

I stayed here recently in a single room for a week and although it was not overly spacious it was extremely clean; well laid out with a generous en-suite bathroom. And abnormally there was decent shower pressure: not bad considering I was on the second floor. The staff were very courteous and helpful. I ate in the restaurant all week... More

I spent a four-day weekend at the Clifton Lodge Hotel while taking advanced flying lessons at the near by Wycombe Air Park. The room was small but comfortable. The breakfast was cooked fresh each morning. I forgot to pack the power supply for my MacBook Pro. One of the staffers found the local Apple Store for me and her coworker... More

Being just under an hour into London, my company booked me and a college in for an over night. Arrived 21.00 booked in advising the girl on reception of our 05.00 start, and given rooms 19 and 22. These are just above the lounge. My room was well presented, NO PHONE. Bed was very comfy. My college had to go... More

We apologised to the customer via email and gave a special discount for the inconvenience. The noise was a one off from a group of guests in the lounge. Staff had asked them several times to keep the noise down More

I've been lucky enough to stay in a lot of very high-end hotels but in Bucks these tend to be out in the sticks, which I don't like. Stayed here as an evacuee from the the rather dubious "annex" of the Buckinghamshire Hotel just up the road after the place was recommended by one of the Clifton's staff who I... More
