My stay at the Ambassador court was very brief about one hour in the afternoon to get changed to go to a wedding then from about midnight to 9am so I wasn’t there particularly long. The positives, very good rate 5 members of my family stayed here all having bed and breakfast and it didn’t break 170 quid, there is... More

Our stay here was not too bad, rooms were ok but there seems to be no experience of running a hotel from the staff but I'm sure they'll get there, the price wasn't too bad, its situated right next door to a busy petrol station & it's about a mile to the centre of town.

I just had the misfortune to stay at this place last night. Had to 20-30 mins until they confirmed my booking was made by phone call. Staff are not trained to run this sort of establishment. Then had to wait while manager/staff boy/receptionist or whoever he was went and made my bed. When I got to room and I asked... More

I would have given this hotel 0 stars if I could have. We paid £55 to stay at this hotel and quite frankly I think I would rather have slept in my car with my bad back. The car park is large enough for the hotel but was surrounded by rubbish, the rear of the hotel had broken furniture and... More

No way was it worth the money that was paid for the room. I have stayed in cheaper hotels that are far superior to this. The smell was disgusting, the bathroom was moldy if you dared to look up, the curtains would not pull back as were attached to the rail, and there was wallpaper peeling from the walls, bits... More

I wouldn't stay here again. I supposed we should have guessed by the price! Shower head was attached to pipe by tape. Black bits came out of the bath tap. Our friends were in a room that stank of old smoke. Etc etc. just dont stay here unless you can't find anywhere for else for the money!

Had a horrendous experience. Awoke in the morning covered in Bed Bug Bites. Over my face and body and even on my eye lids. See photos. Manager offered no compensation and instead sent us to another hotel which I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. Words cannot express- See photos! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Off to a poor start didnt have the booking right when we arrived and staff did not know the price quoted but they were friendly enough but the room at front was not clean and poor quality bedding tiles on bathroom floor were loose and lot of mould around shower wished I had brought a bottle of bleach. The seals... More
