Stayed for Friday/Saturday/Sunday nights at short notice and although having lived in High Wycombe for many years, had never stayed their. Was pleasantly surprised. An old Victorian House which has been extended to 32 Rooms. Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom with Shower was the same. Free WiFi was good as was the free full English breakfast. Within easy walking... More

This hotel is fine if you are using as a stop over and wouldn't recommend for couples or families. Very old decor, small rooms that I had to open the window for in freezing January because they were so hot and a car parking nightmare if your late and the car park is full.

Stayed here in a top floor triple for three nights. Fairly basic but comfortable beds (always a bonus!) Shower power was disappointing but water (like the hotel) was always hot. Plenty of towels, shampoo, tea & coffee (After they found our missing kettle).

when booking and seeing the incorrect location i attempted to cancel my reservation. the manager was unfriendly and unwilling to cooperate and so i paid for a room that i didnt get to use. so i wouldnt bother with them in the future and would not advise others to.

Can't fault this place. The room was spotless and the bed linen was lush! Had a great nights sleep and a sumptuous breakfast. Set me right up for the day! Reception was efficient and accommodating. Even fetching a plate and cutlery for my takeaway. I would happily spend longer here. Reasonable price and first class experience. Well done Abbey Lodge.

My Husband and i stayed at the Abby Lodge Hotel for 2 nights. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was nice, and the sheets were clean. But the cleanliness of the room was very poor. There was a lot of dust on the curtain pelmet, the lamp shades, behind and under the bed and bedside tables and in the bathroom.... More

The triple room was very comfortable, comfortable beds so we had a good night's sleep. The hotel is very good value, with friendly & very helpfull staff. Nice laid back & quiet atmosphere on the Sunday we stayed. The breakfast was basic but fine. Reading the other reviews before we stayed I don't know what the complaints we about. Overall... More

We booked this place online and the price was £69 . They asked all our card detail too. We got a tight room when we wanted to have tea the cups where already filled with old out of date tea and the window edges we all covered in mould. It can be very noisy and the people on the bottom... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night over the weekend to visit the local towns in the area. I was pleasantly surprised by the room facilities, especially the bed and shower which were perfect for our stay. I have stayed in many 3 & 4 star hotels that don't provide a kettle or tea etc in the room, so was... More

Visited London to see the poppies and stayed here on way back home. Hotel is 5 mins walk into the town but quite a steep hill to walk back up. Good price for a basic room and could of done with a good dusting. Nice bath and very hot water. A decent buffet style breakfast but no sausages. Plenty of... More
