The hotel is in a good location being just a few minutes walk from the town. However the room was very small and the facilities very basic. It was clean though and although the breakfast was a typical tired buffet, when we asked for freshly cooked eggs, this was done without question. Unfortunately there is a building site right next... I chose to stay due to cost. Found it comfortable. The en-suite had been recently done but the room could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast was good but the bedroom walls were paper tin. I could hear the total conversation of a couple of workmen staying in the next room. Made me quite uncomfortable as it felt that... More

Three singles travelling together so we were pleased to have one room without a roll out bed as part of the configuration. The room was clean but dated and tired. My bed should have had the mattress replaced and I ended up having to get the mattress off the roll out bed left in the room and put it on... More

Booked at short notice for 4 nights. Location is perfect within easy walking distance of the town centre with private parking to the rear of the hotel. Because of my specific needs (working late and needing to catch up on sleep through the day time I contacted the hotel direct prior to booking. Reception took my call and worked to... More

clean and decent room with a half decent all you can eat, help yourself breakfast. I stayed as part of a work trip so only really spend time at the hotel asleep, the rooms are a little tired but they are clean, tea and coffee is supplied and a plentiful breakfast, what more could you ask for a really cheap... Would not recommend. Very tired and run down, breakfast room in the basement and staff eating off their hands! When I contacted the manager about the issues all she was interested in was telling me the fees it costs when people book through a third party instead of direct with them! Terrible customer service and terrible rooms.

The floor of the room were shaking. Coffee machine was dusty. Heater did not work well. Bathroom was small. Only one charging plug point. Not much around- shopping, eating, bars, nothing. Breakfast was ok! I would never go back there.

I came across this hotel one night on a long car journey and needed to find somewhere for the night. It was very well situated just off the motorway and was, in fact, the first hotel I tried in High Wycombe. The young man at reception was very helpful and polite, and showed me the room prior to finalising the... More
