Welcoming, efficient staff. Upgraded to executive room as a Platinum member. Room on ground floor with courtyard view and therefore quiet. Even at a weekend the hotel was busy with family events and small conferences but this did not affect other travellers as function rooms are well separated from the main areas. Restaurant and bar staff friendly. Bar food mostly Asian... more

The rooms are quite small but otherwise have everything you expect from a Holiday Inn. The location is very close to the motorway junction but as long as you have a room facing the courtyard you can't hear it. There is a big carpark, a fair choice in the restaurant and a few other restaurants nearby on the retail park. more

Have been to this hotel for meetings many times but never stayed. Always seemed well-organised and clean. Wanted somewhere to break a journey from Surrey to Staffordshire and this proved to be an excellent location. We asked for a quiet room (knowing it was close to the M40) and got one which was ideal - clean, well equipped and v.quiet.... more

A good, mainly business hotel in a convenient location next to Jn.4 of the M40. The room was a little on the small side but contained everything needed for a short stay. The staff, from reception, to dining, to bar, to housekeeping, were extremely friendly and helpful - it certainly turned this from an average hotel to a well above... more

As a professional meeting planner I stayed in this hotel, on business, for one night in March. The hotel is a business hotel, in my opinion, located right off the M40 so good access to many nearby conveniences. I would call this an average hotel. One restaurant and the lobby/bar. It served it's purpose but nothing special and the same... more

The hotel is fine. Internet in the room is wired, but if you pay for in-room internet then you can also use the wireless connection at the lobby. The safe in my room was locked and the staff wasn't able to open it. No other issues, except for the high price (130 GBP) - but that's an overall UK problem. more

The rooms of this Holiday Inn are small. However, when I stayed for night in July the room was clean and everything that I expected to be there was there. The hotel was very efficient and the staff very pleasant. The breakfast, although a buffet-style affair with eggs to your liking, was excellent and the staff could not have been... more

My wife and I regularly stay over at this hotel on trips to London. There's a cinema, fast food restaurants, Asda Superstore and John Lewis on the doorstep. We got caught out last time as they didn't do evening meals on a Sunday. Thank goodness for Benny's next door(which has more atmosphere anyway, and pretty good food) Breakfasts are always... more

We were really pleasantly surprised by the quality of accomodation, having not been to a Holiday Inn for years, we thought it would be pretty basic. However all areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean, parking was very easy and there was a good ambience and quality to the place. Unfortunately although first impressions were very good, it was disappointing... more

A large Holiday Inn right on Junction 4 of the M40. Although it is on the roundabout above the junction the entrance is easily missed as it is up a narrow turning just before a multi screen cinema. The rooms were light and presentable. However, my first impressions were not good as the 2 tea spoons in my room were... more
