We stayed at the B&B during 'the snow' - originally we decied not to travel, then changed our minds, and then arrived much earlier than we had informed James & Arden! None of this was a problem for them, nor was anything thing else during our brief stay. We were going to a fancy dress party about a mile away... more

Both James and Arden made me feel very welocme at Ardenwood. Even at my late arrival special arrangements were made to enable me access to my room. The room was excellent great value for money - even though i wasnt paying! The ensuite was definately worth the extra tenner. Tried to book it for my next visit in May buts... more

I had a very pleasant extended stay due to snow! I was looked after having been stranded in a town I didn't know. The room was very comfortable, I was offered DVDs etc.. to lighten my level of boredom. The breakfast was lovely and a kitten to play with as well! more

Love it

I stay in travel lodges most of the time when on business, mainly because you know what you are getting but a friend of mine suggested ardenwood bed and breakfast in Aylesbury. I must say it is really nice, large rooms with 32 inch screen TV, but the best thing is the location and parking, 2 minutes walk in to... more

I had to travel down to Aylesbury for a job interview, so I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay within close proximity to the town centre. I was actually amazed to find that the B&B was much better than the photos on their website. I found the room I booked to be very spacious, clean with the added... more

I stayed at the Ardenwoood B&B during the week for over 6 months. I loved it. The rooms are nice and individually decorated, The location is a 5 min walk to Aylesbury town centre but its far enough and secluded enough to be a tranquil getaway. What makes it 5 stars for me was the owners James and Arden. They... more

Ardenwood bed and breakfast with my wife, perfect is all I can say, the rooms, the breakfast, the hosts, the grounds and the proximity to town. If you are looking for a nice clean b&b at reasonable rates, look no further. Its like staying at a friends house. The staff are very friendly. more

A beautiful building with classic decor and great hosts. We stayed only two nights but James and Arden made us feel like old friends come to visit. The breakfast room is gorgeous (go for the solarium!) and the grounds are well laid out and carefully tended. Ardenwood is within walking distance of Aylesbury town centre but away from the madding... more

This B&B is lovely. We stayed in the attic room which wasn't en suite, but the toilet and shower room were just next door which was clean and just fine. However, the only thing that let our visit down slightly was the welcome we received - it was very poor. Arden (the lady owner) turned up at the front door... more

...and nothing it shouldn't be. Great place for a business traveler needing a retreat from the run of the mill hotel room, with all the comforts of home. Great hosts, spotlessly clean, well-organized, with all the charm and character of an English country house yet close to all the amenities of town and local businesses. more
