Booked here as it was very close to a birthday party we were attending and could not get in anywhere else at short notice. As it was cheap we were not expecting anything brilliant and we were certainly not disappointed in that respect.
Cleanish, until we moved the two single beds together to try and make a double (no double rooms at all, just twins) they don't vacuum under the beds obviously. No shower cubicle in the bathroom just a curtain with a drainage hole beneath next to the toilet. Our room was next to the lift which had a really loud and annoying buzzer which sounded every time the doors opened or closed and although this may have been a 'one off' on the night we were there, there were people using the lift regularly until about 3.00 am then the early leavers started all over again at 6.00 am. I think this is meant as more of a hostel for people using the adjacent sports centre, in that capacity it ticks the boxes, very cheap, very basic accommodation. A roof over your... more
