I mercifully only stayed here a couple of nights whilst working in Aylesbury. The room was basic and a bit rough around the edges. The bathroom, as with everything else is set up with paralympians in mind due to the stadium next door (The Birthplace of The Paralympics!), so expect a wet-room type affair but with terrible drainage. The shower... More

Stayed here whilst on business. Quite hard to find if you miss the 1 signpost. On arrival their systems were down so booked in manually which was fine. Good points - As far as I know they are all twin rooms so if you know your mate well then a real cheap way of doing it. Staff found friendly &... More

I have the delight of having to stay at this lodge often and I have to say I don't find this hotel great at all. The rooms are very dirty, damp patches over walls and ceilings, bathrooms are just gross and I'm not convinced the bedding is changed between people staying. Have complained many times without a valid response. Some... More

Appalling service. Terrible organisation. The treatment on arrival was so bad I went back to the car and cried into my dog's fur! There was no where to get food on site on the Friday at about 5:30pm. The curtains wouldn't close properly in my room and the lift beeped so loudly every time the doors shut that it woke... More

Accommodation is basic, but to be honest I expected this. It served it's purpose as a "budget stop over". Everything was perfectly serviceable and the shower was powerful, always a plus for me! The Reception Staff were a delight, very welcoming and friendly.

We have recently stayed here, having to have two rooms for the 3 of us. The first thing I would have to point out is that this place only has twin rooms,so anyone looking to stay here needs to understand this first. Frankly this is a cross between a University dormitory, and a below par budget hotel. It is as... More

As a family member was staying at the local hospital, we were looking for an affordable stay for one night for 4 adults. The Olympic Lodge was half the price of similar places , we got 2 x twin rooms and breakfasts for less than £35 each, rooms were comfortable and clean although could do with a redecorate and full... Everything was fantastic about my stay the only thing I can grumble about is the lack of WiFi connection and also the gent on reception felt the need to explain the same things several times which prolonged the check in and check out process, rooms are basic but clean. I would stay here again.

Four of us stayed at the Olympic Lodge beside the Stoke Mandeville Stadium. We found the hotel extremely clean, the rooms were well equipped, the beds were most comfortable and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The price is unbelievably reasonable at forty pounds per room, now where would you get it.Also you can swim in the wonderful pool at the... This is a pretty depressing place to stay with all the charm of a prison cell or a hospital ward. The room is basic beyond all expectation and there are few facilities. Big problems in getting the room temperature right as it is was far too cold. In addition sleep disturbed by alarms going off during the night. On the... More
