My husband booked on line. When we arrived we were met by a man who claimed later to be the cleaner (ha ha!) Spoke little English. Handed us our key and took us up to the room. The bed had previously been slept in and unchanged. The floors unhoovered and the bathroom uncleaned. The house didn't smell particularly nice. I... More

On the plus side, the house is lovely, the bed was comfortable, the room a decent size (king-size with en-suite), great power shower, it was quiet and we were able to book last minute (booked monday, stayed saturday). We were in the area for a wedding and wanted something different away from everyone. We arrived early and no one was there. We called and had to wait a while to be let in. There were always people around in the common area, but none of them were guests. We will find a different place the next time.

This is by far one of the best places to stay in Aylesbury, it's a pleasant change from the usual worn out places offering mediocre rooms. The building is a beautiful modern property and the rooms are spacious and at a standard that you might expect at some of the bigger national hotel brands.

....The smell of curry 24 hours a day. ....Cheap 'Faux' Satin sheets from a 70's porn film. ....Waiting an hour for the water to heat up to have a shower. ....a TV that can only get Russia Today, or the Tractor Channel. ....Waiting nearly an hour for breakfast, which consist of 1 burnt fried egg, 2 incinerated cocktail sausages, i...
