Stayed a night here on Business - I will certainly come back again - great people, pub and village

Had a lovely evening with perfect hosts, a very comfortable overnight stay and a great breakfast to set us up for the next day. Andy and his team could not have been more friendy despite a sometimes rowdy group to cater to. The food was excellent and the drinks kept on coming. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed over at The Gatehangers for a friend's birthday bash that was held in the pub. The hosts, Andy and his team, were welcoming and really went out of their way to make the party really special (even putting up with the Birthday Boy's choice of non-stop Pink Floyd...). We went over for a works dinner and stayed overnight to save the taxi fare. The food was traditional and excellent quality. The room was lovely as was the surrounding village and contryside. i found this b&b on line, read reviews from trip advisor. could it be that good? well i can tell you it is! very friendly, comfortable. plan to return with friends at a later date, good location plenty of places to visit, well done andy&hilary, hope to see you soon. debbie&mark.

Andy and Hilary were very friendly and really went that extra mile to put a smile on my face, combine that with the very helpful staff and the friendly atmosphere, this is a superb place to relax. I would happily stay there again......NIgel.
