Went for lunch, lovely menu, great choice and children's menu as well. Friendly staff and good service. Prices of drinks and food were pretty reasonable. Very spacious restaurant. Downside as that the toilets were upstairs. All in all quite nice.

Beautiful hotel and excellent restaurant. Booked on line and must admit from the outside I thought I had made a mistake but once inside the welcome and first impression of the rooms allayed any fears! Booked two rooms separately but at check-in they made sure we were allocated rooms together! Staff were so friendly especially at breakfast couldn't fault anything

Arrived at night in car park which was over a main road from The Bell. Took a few minutes of wandering round the car park to realise where the building was situated. Finally entered the building and found the reception. Staff pleasant and helpful. It seemed quite an old pub with stone floors and oak beams and the receptionist seemed... More

Me and my sister came here for lunch and it was pretty awful! I had the burger which tasted odd, maybe frozen? My sister had the soup and it tasted like pasta sauce, very weird. Will not be eating here again.

My wife and I have eaten and drunk in the Bell on numerous occasions. The food is always good with a good menu, and offers there are offers on some of the meals, drinks at a special rate. As a real ale drinker myself, the choice of beers are excellent, with the staff always helpful, friendly and efficient. I have... More

We used this pub to have a breakfast as we stayed in Aylesbury for one night. The food was excellent, well prepared and presented. It was as good as any other place but the pub is an old one in the centre with plenty of character. We would definitely use this one again even if it was for only having... More

Booked a Xmas meal for 15 people....only 7 showed up. The waitress and bar staff were so forgiving as I asked them to wait and wait and wait, before very politely informing us that unfortunately they really needed to get on in the kitchen. They wait over an hour for us and I am so appreciative of them putting themselves... More

Went there at lunch-time, just wanting a good value pub lunch and as I wasn't working that day, a nice pint too. I was not disappointed on either grounds. The fish, chips and peas was very good. As a bonus struck up a lively conversation with two of the regulars, which made it a very enjoyable couple of hours.

A group of just over 15 of us who were aged 17-18 booked a table at the Bell on a monday night for 6:30. After arriving and being seated all of us were immediately asked to provide ID before any food or drink was ordered. I would like to add that not a single 18 year old bought any alcohol... More
