We visited this hotel en route to the south coast for one night. Generally it was a very good experience. Plus points: Huge family room Big beds Decent kids beds Nice breakfast (my sons were especially impressed with the pancake machine) "Free" use of health club Large car park Negatives: Some parts including the health club are a little tired... Stopped here for a night on the way down to London. Room was fantastic. Bed was huge and comfortable. Restaurant had some of the tastiest food I've had. Highly recommend the chimichurri lamb. Staff very friendly, especially Emily who made the whole family feel special and very welcome. Thanks again for a great nights stay.

Stayed here alone for one night in an executive room. After a 5 hour drive, felt very welcome by reception staff and love the extra touches for Gold members which other Holiday Inns sometimes forget. Loved the pool. The bar service was good, although as with most hotel bars think they could offer more beers even if only in bottles,... More

Located on the edge of Aylesbury this hotel offers friendly service, excellent breakfast food options and value for money. Good to get a friendly face and welcome at reception on arrival. The room was spacious, clean and modern, the bed was comfy and the bathroom shower was effective. All the staff throughout our one night stay we're friendly and helpful.... More

We only stayed here as everywhere else was booked and we'd left it late to book. It was in a quiet location and the reception we had on arrival was pleasant. The room was 178 the last in the building, the rooms are arranged in bizarre fashion and we walked round the whole hotel to get to our room. On... More

On arrival we were told our room was on the first floor. As I am disabled we had specifically stated that a ground floor room was required. On checking, the desk clerk said " you're lucky. There's one ground floor room available " We suggested that perhaps it was the hotel who were lucky. Others in our party who were... More

Good Points - free parking and quiet rooms Bad Points - 2nd floor rooms definitely more run down than the ground floor, general standard of food not good and overpriced although breakfast was better than evening meal. Service charges added automatically which I requested was removed and they ask for a gratuity as well. Wifi should be free. More staff... More

As this was priced the same as the other cheap hotels in the area I was very pleasantly surprised at the size of the rooms. The bedroom was huge and nicely decorated and clean, with a huge big bed which was very comfy. Bathroom looked quite swish and was also clean. The only thing that let it down was the... More

Fantastic customer service reception exceptional, even got a good morning from the cleaning staff. Very clean rooms and excellent breakfast everything what you'd want a hotel chain like holiday in to be. One little niggle the bar was constantly left unmanned which left people waiting around.

Just stayed one night, but nice hotel with really helpful staff. We were very early for check-in but the reception made a point of finding us in the hotel cafe as soon as a room became available and checking us in. Others staying at the hotel had issues with access to the rooms, which the management attended to in order... More
