Had a lovely stay at Badgers Cottage. Everything was immaculate and Gillian is the perfect hostess. Breakfast was brilliant. This B&B is well situated away from traffic but convenient for travelers. The bed was the most comfortable of any on our trip. Highly recommended by veteran travelers.

Had a lovely overnight stay at this beautifully situated and delightful B&B. Would thoroughly recommend it and I will definitely return if I should find myself in the area again.

If you wish for essentially English style accommodation, then Badgers Cottage is it. Your hostess Gillian, could not be better suited for this role. You were made so welcome, that your stay seemed as if you were at "home" - What more could you wish for. The experience commenced on arrival, a dreamy idealic delight - the sponge cake with... More

Stayed this past weekend. lovely location, great standard. We stayed in one of the barn conversions and really enjoyed our night. Gill is a great host and I would very much recommend Badgers Cottage.

We unfortunately only had one night at this fantastic place. We stayed in the adjoining barn, which is totally wonderful. We had some lovely tea and cake waiting for us...... much to my husbands delight! I was thrilled to find some lovely bottles of wine! The toiletries, towels and bedding were all lovely. The bed amazingly comfortable...... We had a... More

We booked Badgers at the last minute, and were delighted with our stay. Gill met us at the door and was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. She had left us a fresh sponge cake in a tin outside our room, along with tea and coffee. The room was small, but smart and comfy with our own shower... More

An enchanting cottage for a restful, peaceful stay. The owner, Gill can't do enough to make your stay perfect but without being intrusive. We stayed in the large en-suite room, which comes with its own private sitting room with complimentary bottles of wine. An excellent breakfast with plenty of choice is served by Gill, who was also pleased to give... More

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing weekend at Badger's Cottage. The cottage offers excellent accomodation and Jill who owns and runs the B&B provides a really friendly and attentive service. We stayed in the cottage in a king size room with a large en-suite and even had our own lounge with complimentary bottles of wine.Jill cooks up a... More

Very comfortable place to stay in a peaceful edge-of-town setting overlooking fields. Gill welcomed us warmly and gave us helpful advice about local places to eat. We'd booked for the convenient location, as we had to get to London for the day and then to a family party nearby, but it would be a lovely place to sit with a... More

The location of this b and b is fantastic for walking and visiting villages, or for an oxford city break. You can do it all. We were given advice by Gill about places to visit which was very helpful. We stayed in the main house which was quaint, with exposed beams. Afternoon tea with cake was a treat, and we felt... More
