Great hosts, great location, nice room, wonderful breakfast, a good place to meet fellow travelers. The city center is about 30 min on foot, but the Clifton area has it's own restaurants, pubs, shops etc., and has beautiful Georgian buildings, and of course the Clifton Suspension Bridge, on view from our room at PB9's.

Simon and Joanna are wonderful hosts. This is the second time we've stayed and it felt like coming home. They were very accommodating about storing my bicycle securely, and they ensured we were able to park on the street outside. The breakfast is amazing, especially the pancakes. Everyone eats round a large table in the stunning dining room, very social.... More

9 Princes Buildings is a family-run B&B in Clifton, the lovely residential area above Bristol. It is a Georgian townhouse which is full of character, including the furniture. The rooms are large as are the ensuites. The breakfasts are hearty if you want that (we did) but healthy if you prefer that. Walking anywhere in Clifton is a cardio-vascular work... More

We stayed in the twin bedroom. It was incredibly spacious and light and yet warm and homely. This bedroom faces the street, but there's no traffic noise and you still have amazing views as you're so high up. The views of the Avon Gorge on the other side of the B&B are spectacular! You can see them from the dining... More

We stayed here in January for one night after reading good reviews and we were not disappointed. We had the garden room, which was spotless and spacious. The breakfast was first class with plenty of choice. The location was walking distance to the lovely shops and restaurants. The hosts were friendly and attentive. The homemade cake, sherry and nuts were... More

A really excellent B&B in a beautiful house in Clifton overlooking the Avon gorge. The Fullers are excellent hosts, we had a splendid cooked breakfast with a homemade strawberry and cherry jam which is quite delicious. And on top of everything we met Muffin, the house cat, with the most spectacular coat imaginable.

We stayed in the twin bedroom as pictured on the website - I think it was called Tom and overlooking the street (it was still pretty quiet). We got a taxi from the station which cost £8.80 for the 2 of us. Simon welcomed us & showed us to our room which was lovely & warm, and generally made us... More

We stayed for 2 nights to visit our daughter and had not been here before as we are aware that parking can sometimes be a bit of a problem. However, we were able to park easily, and although it wasn't always outside the door, it wasn't actually a problem at all. The B&B itself is wonderful, with considerate hosts who... More

This is one of those places that simply puts a smile on your face. Everything about it - the building itself, Simon and Joanna, the views from the our top floor room of Clifton bridge and the gorge, the accommodation, and breakfast - was excellent. I would say try and get a room at the back of the building if... More

We stayed for one night in September on our way down to Cornwall and couldn't fault our stay. The fact that they allow 1 night stays is a bonus as many places insist on 2 nights and Simon was really accommodating. We requested the garden suite due to having a two year old which was lovely. It is downstairs but... More
