This is a wonderfully located B&B next to the Avon Gorge. It is right next to the suspension bridge and the Clifton Downs. Clifton itself has a plethora of restaurants and bars so everything is on the doorstep plus it is an easy walk into Whiteladies Road/Cotham and Park Street if you are walkers Buses are close by also. Breakfast... More

We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Entering from the busy street outside, it was amazing to gaze out across a tranquil garden and fields in complete silence! Wonderful! The house provides a fascinating glimpse into what so many houses in Clifton must have been like before they were divided into flats - the atmosphere is 'shabby... More

My husband and I stayed in the garden apartment and it was very comfortable with a lovely view of the garden (but not of the bridge). The bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was massive! There was a good choice for breakfast and it was delicious. Clifton is a lovely area of Bristol and a nice walk into the centre... More

Such a charming house and really welcoming hosts. Bedroom was most comfortable and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Mrs Fuller's breakfast was delicious and Mr Fuller was most entertaining and looked after us so well. The house is in a delightful position with stunning views over the Avon Gorge. We loved it!

Great hosts, great location, nice room, wonderful breakfast, a good place to meet fellow travelers. The city center is about 30 min on foot, but the Clifton area has it's own restaurants, pubs, shops etc., and has beautiful Georgian buildings, and of course the Clifton Suspension Bridge, on view from our room at PB9's.

Simon and Joanna are wonderful hosts. This is the second time we've stayed and it felt like coming home. They were very accommodating about storing my bicycle securely, and they ensured we were able to park on the street outside. The breakfast is amazing, especially the pancakes. Everyone eats round a large table in the stunning dining room, very social.... More

9 Princes Buildings is a family-run B&B in Clifton, the lovely residential area above Bristol. It is a Georgian townhouse which is full of character, including the furniture. The rooms are large as are the ensuites. The breakfasts are hearty if you want that (we did) but healthy if you prefer that. Walking anywhere in Clifton is a cardio-vascular work... More
