A clean and inviting room, with handy extras such as iron/board in what had once been a glorious coach house for the large house next door. The charming owner took the time to speak to us and genuinely seemed to care about our stay. Breakfast was great. We will stay again.

Just returned from 1 nights stay at the B and B with 6 of my friends. I'm confused as to some of the other negative reviews on here for this hotel, complaining about it being in the middle of no where, doesn't serve food etc. People should really research where they are staying as this is clearly not the hotels... I run a company local to this guest house and booked a single room for a work colleague from Denmark for 5 nights. The staff were rude and arrogant and made his stay a misery on departure they tried to hike the cost of the room up from £60 to £75 on complaining and having a standing row in the... More

Now for the full story..for those who intend to malign our impeccable reputation for 40 years. The West Country Deer services booked three rooms with us (on phone). One guest checked in & when we called(&sent text messages) to confirm whether the others will be checking in they didn't respond at all.We held the bookings in good faith and turned down... A beautiful converted Coach House, nicely furnished, very good breakfast, nice friendly staff. BUT there is a short steep ramp between reception and the rooms which is I suspect to enable disabled access, I would not like to be in the wheelchair going up it. The bedroom door was it appeared to be a fire door but very tatty and... More

If you enjoy being away from it all in the countryside then this will suit. Unfortunately it wasnt my cup of tea. I stayed on business and was disappointed to find there was no food available. I didnt realise it was just a B&B. Unfortunately, my search for food in the village was unsuccessful. The pub directly opposite (The Crown)... More

We chose The Coach House after reading reviews on here and looking at the management photos on websites to give us an idea of our accommodation. The location suited us as it was walking distance for a family reunion over the weekend. The website shows well appointed, bright, spacious rooms.... it looks very nice. However.... We arrived late afternoon and... More

We arrived on Friday 3rd April and found parking easy at the hotel. The only comment would be that it is very easy to miss the sign as you drive through the village of Hambrook.... Tip, it's almost opposite the Crown pub...! Our room was really fine, TV, coffee and tea making facilities, including good quality free WiFi too. We... More

We stayed here in one of the twin rooms. The hotel is okay....it's easy to find but doesn't have the biggest car park, we had to park our car over the road...when we finally got in we where greeted and shown to our rooms, the chap on reception wasn't the most friendly guy but he did and said what was... The Coach House is tucked away just from the major road network outside Bristol, so good to travel in many directions. Very clean rooms, bedding is always pristine and bathrooms are exceptionally clean which is very important to me as a frequent traveller. The rooms are prepared for your arrival in that during the winter the chalets and rooms are... More

Very welcoming staff, very high standard rooms for a B&B, modernised bathroom and lovely rustic furniture in keeping with the property. Had no issues with temperature in the room, great nights sleep and beautifully cooked breakfast. Definitely Booking again.
