The Coach House is a great hotel, staff were good, very helpful as we arrived very late. Good breakfast, freshly cooked and plenty to choose from. Well located just 5 mins from the M4 / M32. Would recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, nice clean rooms with countryside views even though just 5 miles from Bristol city centre. Extensive road works nearby spoiled stay just slightly but obviously not the guest houses fault. Needed a guest house near to where I was working this was ideal. Would highly Recommend.

This is a nice little independent, I was staying for business and so location was prime concern. It quite quirky but appealing at the same time. Parking can be an issue, as to can leaving when delivery trucks are parked on the drive and refuse to move until they've unloaded - but then that's nothing to do with the hotel.... More

a warm welcome from the owner and my room was lovely and clean . contemporary in style the room was spacious and welcoming. The only thing is that the coach house can not be sign posted on.the main Rd due to being in a conservation area however it's opposite the crown pub and has a red telephone box at the... More

Chandrasekhar and his team always make me feel welcome and the improvements they have made in the time they have been heere have been really good. Rooms are always clean and have exrything you need for your stay. Standard... More

A clean and inviting room, with handy extras such as iron/board in what had once been a glorious coach house for the large house next door. The charming owner took the time to speak to us and genuinely seemed to care about our stay. Breakfast was great. We will stay again.

Just returned from 1 nights stay at the B and B with 6 of my friends. I'm confused as to some of the other negative reviews on here for this hotel, complaining about it being in the middle of no where, doesn't serve food etc. People should really research where they are staying as this is clearly not the hotels... I run a company local to this guest house and booked a single room for a work colleague from Denmark for 5 nights. The staff were rude and arrogant and made his stay a misery on departure they tried to hike the cost of the room up from £60 to £75 on complaining and having a standing row in the... More

Now for the full story..for those who intend to malign our impeccable reputation for 40 years. The West Country Deer services booked three rooms with us (on phone). One guest checked in & when we called(&sent text messages) to confirm whether the others will be checking in they didn't respond at all.We held the bookings in good faith and turned down... A beautiful converted Coach House, nicely furnished, very good breakfast, nice friendly staff. BUT there is a short steep ramp between reception and the rooms which is I suspect to enable disabled access, I would not like to be in the wheelchair going up it. The bedroom door was it appeared to be a fire door but very tatty and... More

If you enjoy being away from it all in the countryside then this will suit. Unfortunately it wasnt my cup of tea. I stayed on business and was disappointed to find there was no food available. I didnt realise it was just a B&B. Unfortunately, my search for food in the village was unsuccessful. The pub directly opposite (The Crown)... More
