We stayed at the Mercure Holland house hotel from Fri to Sunday. We were attending my husbands works Christmas party at the Passenger Shed on the Saturday and decided to make a weekend of it to fit in some Christmas shopping. The company footed the bill for Saturday night and breakfast on the Sun and we paid for Friday night... More

The service for the check in was good. The hotel is located very near from the city center. When we arrived to the room we found dust and dirt everywhere, looking for an hair dryer we found a bra in the cupboard, the shower was muffled up and the water stayed in the shower.....

My wife and I stayed at this hotel early December on a 3 night package with Great Rail Journeys. From our first contact with reception by email regarding a car parking issue, to check out we found the staff to be extremely helpful and charming throughout. Rooms were well equipped, comfortable and perfectly serviced. As we were on a package... More

Attended a christmas party, which was so overpriced. £38 for a below average 3 course meal, if this wasn't bad enough, a bottle of house wine was £22 pound when it was only worth a £4.00 bottle from sainsburys, £5 a single and mixer, £10 for a double! One lady I was with bought a large glass of wine and... More

I have a bit of dissonance about booking this sort of hotel - my partner like a pool / gym etc.. I like to feel like spending the money gets you something special. Somewhere like Bristol you're only going to get that pool in a big hotel like this Mercure, and getting her a pool makes the place feel more... More

This is a comfortable hotel with good amenities. I had a very large room on the 4th floor which had two double beds, a huge window with a nice view of a tree, and a generous sized bathroom albeit with a tiny and very low basin. The bed was very comfortable and tea and coffee making facilities were discovered in... More

I have been to this hotel before and the experience was OK but at a Christmas event last night I couldn't believe how poor it was. First of all there was general disorganisation, with the staff not really knowing what alcohol was available to serve from the small bar, where coats could go and where our drinks vouchers were -... Grabbed a couple of nights in Bristol and this hotel was just great. 10 - 15 minutes walk down hill to the centre of things. God parking onsite if required at £12 per day, or a little car park off to the right of the hotel up a residential street, or on street parking on the same street free on... More

Stopped in this hotel for 2 weeks. I had a different room for each week. The first week my room was really cold, even with the heating fully turned up. The second room was a bit better but with the heating on it's really noisy so can't leave it on when you're trying to get to sleep. The bed was... More
