I was recommended The Belgrave by The Spire Hospital, as I had to stay in Bristol for 6 nights. I loved it. It was clean, charming and the reception from Kay and Mike was fabulous - I didn't want to leave! I had a lovely room with a Courtyard and sat outside in the sunshine which was lovely. I would... The Belgrave really is in a very good position opposite the Downs and near Clifton in Bristol. The Hosts are very welcoming and genial. The room however was quite noisy but having said that it is on the road so, understandable. The shower did need grouting a silicone replacing as some of it was black and the temperature gauge was... I booked to stay at the Belgrave when having surgery at the Spire Hospital. Kay was considerate, fun to talk to and happy to accommodate my requirements. The location was excellent a short walk from the Spire and the beautiful downs just across the road . The room was excellent immaculately clean with a small private courtyard. The on road parking... I had an operation at the Spire Bristol Hospital and I booked this B and B as it is a two minute walk away. I was given a beautiful sunny double room with access to a courtyard. My hosts could not have been more helpful or welcoming.

My family and I needed a place to stay which was close to the Spire hospital. The Belgrave was literally 5mins walk from it. When we arrived we had a lovely warm welcome. The rooms were clean, comfortable and warm. The owners Kay and Mike were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfasts were delicious and the... More

Earlier this week I travelled to Bristol and stayed a single night at the Belgrave B&B. I received the most warm welcome and was shown to a large, bright and clean room. My room had two beautiful clean single beds, two super comfortable chairs, a breakfast table & chairs and a large bathroom. I watched movies on the TV, which... More

With my daughter having surgery at the Spire Hospital I needed to find a place to stay over night. The Belgrave is only 5 minutes from the Hospital on a well lit road, which when leaving the hospital late and being a female on my own was important. On arriving back to my room it was welcoming, very spacious and... More

I am so pleased I stayed at The Belgrave. Just down the street from the BOVTS, where my daughter studies, it was extremely convenient-- but it also has a nice homey feel, and is in a lovely area, both important for a woman on her own.

My daughter and I stayed last night at this homely and comfortable B & B - very well located for the Old Vic Theatre school (five mins walk max and downhill). Lovely view from our room overlooking the common - great cooked breakfast delivered on time to our room and lovely lovely hosts. Highly recommended. Good quality bed linen and... More

As friends nearby were having a party,I stayed for the second time in this hotel as it is very close, but also because it is so friendly and comfortable. I had the same twin room as requested, with its own patio overlooking the garden and the city.Travelling on my own, I especially appreciate being able to eat the excellent breakfast... More
