Stayed here for four nights. The hotel is in a very quiet and secluded position, off the beaten track you could say, positioned a mile along a narrow road off the A37 from Bristol to Shepton Mallet. Was invited to a wedding which took place at Cameley Lodge, The views were fantastic, especialy from my bedroom window. The Food was great, as were the staff. I will be visiting again in the near future. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Nick Smith more

Not that good really - on arrival we had to wait too long to be checked in, even though staff were walking past us without acknowledging us. When we got to our room it had not been cleaned. The toilet had been used and not flushed, there was little toilet paper left. Dead crane flies were all over the carpet,... more

Had this guest made a complaint regarding the "apparent" issues at the time of the stay then this would have been dealt with immediately - as he/she did not , I find it unbelievable that this "review" can be justified. I suggest travellers also look at other review sites regarding Cameley Lodge and see the excellent ratings.

We booked to stay here for a 2 day business meeting. First impressions were, if honest, not good, however, those were soon dispelled by the very friendly service and hospitality provided by the owners, Mr. and Mrs Harris and staff, who do a fantastic job -nothing is a problem!
