A very clean hotel in a really good location in Bristol. Also, parking is good as you can park on the street overnight for £4. However, make sure your air conditioning unit works! Ours was really loud and did not work properly, so the room was very stuffy and hot. We only stayed for two nights so we didn't ask... More

Having booked this hotel I got an email warning about the lack of parking, noise from the pub opposite and unreliable air conditioning. Apart from not being happy about being told this AFTER I had booked, all the warnings were true. Our air conditioning unit failed completely and we were given a desk fan for the following night. We had... More

Good hotel, noise from across the street was a bit loud at night but generally everything you would expect from a premier inn. Staff excellent and very helpful. Would recommend for a 1 night stay, we used it to go to SS Great Britain- ideal.

If you're going somewhere for restful sleep you can do far better than this noisy and dim, dystopian vision of 90s flat-packed oppression. And if dispensing shower gel with a big cynical push button on the wall didn't make you feel like a prisoner, the staff sure will in the morning when you let them know that you couldn't sleep... Great location at the centre of Bristol life beside the river in a building steeped in history. Staff extremely helpful, rooms pleasant and food good. Dinner at the adjoining restaurant good but slow service.

Premier Inn King Street is superbly positioned in Bristol – right by the river and Queen Square, with all the key business/shopping/tourist sites within easy walking distance. Even Clifton – the other side of the city – is only about 20 to 30 minutes’ walk. Also nearby are innumerable restaurants/coffee shops/supermarkets (including large and small Sainsburys, Tescos, etc), plus the... More

We stayed here on the Saturday of the Bank Holiday weekend - big mistake. A jazz festival in the street meant we were deafened by not very accomplished playing from the pub nearby. It was a warm evening but we had to keep the old sash window shut to try and keep the noise out (unsuccessfully). The lame air conditioning... More

I'm really sorry again that the external noise from the jazz festival nearby disturbed you during your stay. I'm also sorry that the airconditioning in your room wasn't sufficient for your needs we are hoping to get some investment into new units in the near future. Thank you for your great comments about the cleanliness of the hotel and the... More

Another concert in Bristol and another night at this Premier Inn - as good as Blondie - magnificent to-night. A great stay - a comfortable bed is so important - and the bed was nice and wide, not bounced out when my husband turned over. (Apparently mattress toppers are coming soon). The staff were all lovely and breakfast the following... More

We stayed on the third floor for our first night of three. The room was too hot. We had been left a fan and the window open but the noise from the exterior fans was too loud and the air conditioning didn't work. We moved the second night to the second floor which was better but the air conditioning cut... More
