Looking to stay in Bristol isn't easy , but finding Westfield House was a real bonus , its quiet peaceful warm and friendly, the bed was a full six foot super kingsize and the shower was all singing and dancing, all very clean and with attention to detail second to none. The breakfast was superb , with a huge choice .... We recently spent 4 nights in the Lavender room. The room was quiet, spacious, spotlessly clean and the very large bed was extremely comfortable. The en-suite had a modern powerful shower. The breakfast was well cooked and the exotic fruit salad with natural yoghurt was delicious. We would however have preferred to have a key to the house and our... More

When I decided to stay at a guest house rather than a hotel on my recent visit to Bristol, I was slightly dubious as to what it might be like. I travel extensively for business and so have seen a wide selection of impersonal, sole-less hotel rooms. Arriving at Westfield house I was greeted by a beautiful family home, not... More

Poor hospitality and made to feel like I was not welcome. On the plus it is a fantastic house and grounds with nice rooms and food. Shame the owners did not live up to the place they have made. Definitely not for business use.

This is a nice B&B, in a large house off a main road in a up scale residential area north of the Downs. The house is set well back from the main road, so traffic noise isn't a problem. My room was nicely furnished with a good sized bed, and faced west over a large garden. The breakfasts were average... More

An excellent room that was spotless and comfortable. Would have like a safe for valuables in view of the fact no key was provided. Suggest that the bathroom should provide some large hangers on the wall for towels and/or clothing. Good breakfast. Lovely house set back from the street. Recommended

Just back from a 3 night stay at Westfield House I booked at the last minute for an unexpected stay in Bristol, but I really landed on my feet. It’s set well back from the road in its own grounds (easy to drive passed if you don’t look out for it) in a pleasant residential area close to the Downs... More

An excellent B&B, i would definately recommend it to anyone visiting Bristol. Friendly owner (plus dog!), very clean and comfortable room and lovely breakfast in the morning. A prior reviewer said there were no keys for the rooms which is correct however you can lock the room from the inside so you are perfectly safe while you sleep. I would... More

Clean, Nice decor and comfortable. Nice quiet area and garden. No complaints there at all. However, maybe I'm not a Guesthouse kind of person and prefer the anonymity of a hotel. There's friendly and then there's intrusive. I found the questions from the lady owner, in an effort to be 'friendly', a little inappropriate and annoying. 'Where are you going today?'... More

I was on my own looking at houses to purchase in Bristol for our family's move there this summer. I found this B&B online and was a little nervous as the rates were very good so you never know. Everything about the place was great. The bedrooms were extremely well taken care of, super clean and very comfortable. Mostly the... More
