We booked Novotel back in March as it was very competitive with the other hotels in the area. We took advantage of the cheaper rates including buffet breakfast. We were going to a 'Take That' concert in Cardiff in June, so we needed our hotel close to Temple Meads station ,which was a short walk away (2 mins). Fortunately we... more

Fantastic location, clean spacious rooms. The hotel also has a few smoking rooms which is a rarity nowadays. Breakfast delivered to the room was always on time and the correct order, and the staff are smart looking and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short break in Bristol. more

Used this hotel 1 time for business and 1 time for leisure. The hotel is a couple mins walk from Temple Meads train station and the city centre. Check in when using the hotel for Lesuire was very good, a free booking through airmiles. So unable to comment on the price. They let me check in at 1pm as was... more

I'd certainly recommend the Novotel to anyone wishing to stay in central Bristol. The location is excellent. It's a stone's throw from Temple Meads train station and only a short walk from the retail outlets of Broadmead and the restaurants, coffee shops and bars of Corn Street and the surrounding area. It's also very near to the Harbourside, which you... more

This hotel is roughly what you expect of a Novotel. Comfortable enough rooms, though the location isn't much to write home about unless you appreciate the convenience of the train station and the city centre as it's only a couple of minutes walk to the station and about 5-10 to the city centre. The hotel was let down by its... more

Lovely Lovely Lovely! The parking is below the hotel, but if you are willing to get up early and put money on the meter, then use the spaces opposite the hotel. We decided to stay in Bristol after a long day out and looked on the internet for "pet friendly" accommodation. This is few and far between at the best... more

We received a good deal on the Novotel website to stay Friday and Saturday night with breakfast included in a superior room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the staff are friendly and helpful, the guy on reception when we checked in showed us all the local amenities on the free map the hotel gives out, very useful. The carpark is... more

Chosen because its reasonably near the Colston Hall - Jackson Browne concert. Good deal on price, handy underground car park, easy to find and good reviews on tripadvisor. However its not great. Check in and staff helpful and the breakfast was good. But and this is a big but ............its so brown and not in a boutique hotel chocolate and... more

Mar 6, 2009 | Trip type: Family

I booked this hotel for the price for a family of four. I wasn't interested in serious quality, amenities or even a superior location as I was only in Bristol to meet two friends. I was very impressed with the lobby on arrival then immediately disappointed by the parking charge for the underground carpark (10GBP for overnight) and the signs... more
