This is one of the best Travelodge's we have stayed at, and the help of the receptionist, Roger, in changing our room due to a noise problem was first class. He also gave us all the latest information and had a genuine desire to help. Well done Roger!

I normally avoid Travelodges but selected this for convenience and it said the hotel had been updated. Very pleasantly surprised great hotel with great rooms in a great location. The hotel is in the same building as a Subway and Lidl and opposite a Waitrose. Subwat opens at 7 so good for breakfast. The rooms are comfortable with a good... More

This is a great base to explore Bristol from. Convenmiently located close to the M5 with local ammenities to use if you need food on the move etc. We have stayed here before and we will definately stay again. If you have never used Travelodge, give them a try - we stayed in 4 different towns as a family holiday... More

lovely located hotel near a marina. car park shared with lidl, make sure you park in bays with white lines not red or you could get fined. checked in efficiently by Roger. basic rooms but all recently renovated. what stopped it getting full marks is the constant noise of water running -best described as a kettle constantly been filled meant... The room on arrival clearly hadn't met the vacuum cleaner. There were the remains of tea bag and sugar wrappers over the floor! On the floor by my children's beds were a cigarette filter, hair clip and money! Not nice, I picked it all up. On bathing my two children we had no bath towels just one hand towel for... More

If there is a Travelodge hotel with a better location than Portishead, I haven't been to it.The former dock area has been transformed into an upmarket residential complex surrounding a beautiful marina, and Travelodge sits right at the side of it. The rooms have been updated to the latest specification, even though the hotel itself can only be a few... More

Stayed at Travelodge Portishead for three nights. Can't fault the staff who were helpful and friendly. The bed was clean and comfortable. Main complaint: The shower was little more than a dribble (I had trouble rinsing the shampoo from my thinning pate). Bring your own toiletries. There is no hanging or cupboard space; so you live out of your suitcase.... More
