The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Conveniently placed for city visits only a fifteen minute down hill walk to the Theatre and City area. The hotel was clean and tidy and the room was well laid out with a very comfortable bed. If we needed to stop over in Bristol again we would definitely consider this hotel.

We arrived here at noon and parked in one of the very limited parking spaces and were immediately told we couldn't use that space until we checked in at two. Fair enough we moved and paid to park on the road and went for a walk. Luckily when we came back we managed to park on hotel property again. The... More

We had two rooms in the hotel for my wife and I and our 2 adult daughters. When we arrived we were greeted well by friendly and polite staff. We were given advise about parking as this is a problem and were helped to our room. Whilst the staff remained pleasant the rest of the experience soon became poor. Our... More

The regency is a standard hotel providing clean modern decor. Tea and coffee facilities are available in the room, there is an information pack in the room a hair dryer is provided, showers are good, only knocked down to four stars because breakfast isn't included but would stay here again.

Staff very friendly and were warmly greeted on arrival, was told I would love the room, well for someone who stays in a lot of hotels ranging from premier Inns/travel lodges up to Boutique hotels, this was very average. The room was small, shower room tiny and soaked the floor every time in an attempt to get in the shower,... More

The staff at the hotel where very helpful and nothing was to much trouble did not come across one bad member of staff. Wifi worked fine no problems, very clean hotel including the room. Only thing is the prices of drink's in the bar nearly £11 for two drinks, I have stayed in 5 star hotels and not paid this,... More

I paid £169 for two nights in a single attic room which measured 8 feet by seven feet six with sloping ceiling and a tiny window. It was like sleeping in a cupboard. Same two days I paid £206 for a decent sized king size room (for family). How do you justify £103 per night for two people in a... More

We received a friendly greeting when we first arrived. The room itself turned out to be very basic at best. It was clean, but it looked rather corporate and was nothing special. All you get are the necessities of a hotel room, no more, no less. The bed is alright if you stay no more than two nights, the pillows... More

Good location, polite staff and nice on site bar....but £100 for a room (without breakfast) with a shower set on the wall at knee height is a bit of a cheek....that said my knees have never been cleaner!!
