Yet again, nice clean room with excellent attention to detail. Staff were as always polite and co-operative. No meals were eaten as we were visiting our Son nearby. There can be some noise from downstairs when the windows are open but this normally finishes about 1030

My husband and I were in town visiting my daughter who attends the University of Bristol. We made the reservation online through another website and ended up needing to extend our stay from one night to two, which we attempted to reserve online as well. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with friendly smiles and kindness. Parveen... More

I arrived at the hotel a little after 5pm on a Wednesday evening, upon arrival i found that there was NO VISITOR PARKING which, despite booking through my works website said otherwise. I was told by the woman (possibly the manager) to "park on the back street or pay for the NCP" which i was appaulled at. Why should I... More

Stayed there in March for one night. It was fine but not very fancy. Lots of 1980's furniture in the rooms. Parking is a real problem as you will probably have to park on the street and it gets really busy. There is a good pub over the road called Racks which does good food and has Skysports on for... I stayed in a single room here on a Sunday night, arriving about 5.30pm. The desk was unattended but the receptionist appeared when I called out and she was very polite and friendly. There were stairs to climb as it's a listed building with no lift. My room was small but had recently been refurbished and contained everything I needed.... More

Booked single room for Sat in March.£100 exc breakfast. Shocked that had to share bathroom. Room very small but comfy. On 3rd floor and no lift. Staff very friendly and attentive. Breakfast disappointing: morning tea consisted of mug hot water with dangling tea bag. Cheap fruit juices too. Parking not easy: hotel has 2 spaces on forecourt so spent time... More

I booked this Hotel at the last minute as I need to make an urgent family trip to the area. Now, it does say under facilities, that Parking is very limited, and that street parking is available. Well parking is 'difficult' to say the least, with just 3 spaces at the Hotel. This particular day, I could not find a... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for our 15th wedding anniversary. Now lets get things straight here I'm not one for fancy hotels. But our stay here was the worst experience I've ever had. baring in mind I stay in a lot of hotels with work and the odd weekend away with the family. Where do I start... More
