The room was beautiful- it looked newly decorated! I was upgraded to a larger room so I felt really special. Bathroom was lovely and clean and bed was comfy and spotless. Good location and short walk into town and great eating options nearby! I will stay again.

Friendly staff who are keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Hotel is what you would expect for the price. Comfy beds and I was upgraded to an ensure for free. A fair amount of noise from the road outside, but that's to be expected in a city centre. Short walk to the main attractions in Bristol. Not... More

Good points - friendly, helpful staff, comfortable beds. HOWEVER, we found a BedBug detector under both beds (after feeling like we had been 'bitten'). There was a large mirror in the room which had a side to side crack. The bathroom ventilator was broken, and the shower soap holder broken. Ring mark stains on the room side table, grubby carpet.... We stayed here with a large party of friends and found the hotel welcoming, modern, clean and great value for money. It's in a lovely location 10 minutes walk from Clifton and 20 minutes walk from Bristol City centre. The bar down stairs is independent but a great place to meet. We'd stay there again.

Staff were nice enough, the bed was hard and the room was cold. Very basic hotel not quite in Clifton, not quite in town. Slightly odd location and no restaurant. Would find it hard to recommend if it weren't for the nice staff.

My 7-days staying was enough to realise how good my booking choice had been. The rooms were quite comfortable, the hotel staff was very helpful for me to find some places I wasn't able to reach on my own, and the cleaning crew does really well. Daily cleaning was great, beds were nice and made me feel at home!

Spent a wonderful weekend with my friends at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable again, and the price is fantastic for the location. It is only a 15 minute walk to the city center. The staff were very friendly and helpful all the time. I just needed to say thank you again for making our stay perfect! Highly... More

We wanted to have a romantic weekend in a hotel in Clifton and this was the perfect choice. Managed to get an amazing room for a good price.by phoning the hotel directly. I have already recommended the hotel to my friends who are coming to visit the city next month. The staff were extremely nice and were very welcoming. They... More

Watch out, all is not as it seems. Initial welcome over friendly, as in asking for hugs and to go for a coffee. Then you get zapped by very angry reception later. Very weird. A dark version of Faulty Towers. Can't get the bookings right. If you leave a message regarding bookings it is not recorded accurately and not passed... More
