after landing at bristol airport with my 2 small children at 11.30pm, my ears were popping from the plane, tired and in agony, i politely asked reception if they had any paracetamol, being told "im sorry madam, were not allowed to give any meds to guests" .... would have been surfice, alas in front of my 7yr old daughter, "... The outside of the Travelodge was dirty with cigarette ends and dirt. The lift arrangement was confusing and didn't indicate which floor the reception was on.The restaurant resembled a works canteen. I wouldn't like to stay more than one night.

After having this hotel booked through a corporate account I was left to sleep outside in the car for a night due to an administrative error with the bank. The member of staff on duty that night was lazy and had an attitude. It transpires that the problem could have been resolved but due to this incompetent idiot it wasn't.... More

car park was grim and unlit in places, also too expensive, staff could not answer basic info on food allergies, bed would be small for Tyrion Lannister and there was no gel in the showers in the morning.

A flickering light tube in the bathroom was replaced promptly when I complained so 10 out of 10 for that, but why no shelves? Our second floor room was without either shelves or drawers though there was room for them. Instead underwear and personal items had to be left in the suitcase during our two night stay. Sufficient hanging space... More

Stayed here the weekend of the Harbour Festival, there was a group of 18 us. All the rooms were of a high standard with clean towels for each person in the room. Our room was situated at the front of the hotel and must say there was no noise from outside at all. The staff were very helpful in arranging... More

Stayed at hotel whilst attending the Harbour Festival. Hotel is 10-15 minute walk to city centre. Room was clean and quiet, no noise was detectable from other guests even though a number of stag/hen parties were staying. Would recommend to anyone seeking a good budget option for the city.

Nicely located for central Bristol, clean and comfortable room. Excellent coffee shop 'Friska' nearby. Convenient base for visiting my daughter at Bristol University. Reception staff were most helpful, providing and iron and board when needed!

Your typical experience in a travlodge! I have stayed here for both work and personal use and both times I have had a good experience Good location, handy for the city center, just a 5/10 min walk away. Staff were pleasant and gave us directions to places we wanted to go. Always annoys me that Travelodge make you pay for... More

Just back home from a 4 night break to Bristol. This is all that we needed for our stay, it was quite a modern Travelodge, very clean and all staff are very pleasant. We would recommend this budget hotel & will be using it again.
