I would like to reccomend this hotel to any business travelor like myself. I stayed here ahead of business meetings in Bristol. Though I arrived late - after 10 p.m. I was met by someone at Reception who was extremely corteous and helpful and offered help with both my case and parking securely for the night. My room was extremely... More

We recently spent 2 nights at the Henbury Lodge Hotel. It is situated about 5 miles from Bristol city centre in a pretty location. A bus runs to the centre of the city from the road outside. The hotel is charming with staff who care. We arrived late and tired and were helped to our room without a fuss. After... More

We stayed for the night of 12 July 2014 and had a very pleasant time. The staff is extremely nice and the restaurant is excellent. It was a bit far from the city centre (Bristol), about 40 minutes by bus. But is closer to the Downs.

we stayed one night in hotel, two rooms. Staff were very professional and welcoming. Rooms very comfortable. We had not planned to stay for dinner but our plans changed and so we booked a table in the restaurant. We so impressed with the standard of food, excellent. Home made bread with rosemary, gorgeous mushroom soup and some of the nicest... More

Such a charming building with a lovely garden to enjoy some afternoon drinks in. We had a family room which was very large and spotlessly clean. Only downside of the room is the noise of the traffic as the hotel is on quite a busy road which we didn't realise. We had dinner in the restaurant as there isn't anywhere... More

Very warm welcome from young lady on reception who showed us to our room (8) which was located on the top floor overlooking the rear garden. The room was large and well appointed with modern marble clad bathroom containing a large ‘P’ shaped bath with overhead shower. There was a large closet with numerous shelves, and a safe. The room... My wife and I were looking for somewhere in North Bristol where we could hold an afternoon tea reception for 40 guests following a funeral. Henbury Lodge proved to be the ideal venue, as they set out our refreshments (delicious) in the restaurant, from where were we able to spread out into the lovely garden. We also stayed the nights... We are pleased with Best Western associated hotels and Henbury Lodge is no exception! Most welcoming Reception upon arrival and Departure! Comfortable Room 1 (ideal for older couples requiring twin bedded accommodation) on ground floor of main house - newly refurbished and with a fire door you can close in the hall between it and the small lounge, open to... Stayed at the hotel on the 25th June 2014, the hotel itself is very tired looking, however very clean and the service was exceptional. Had the best sirloin steak ever, the reception and waitresses deserve a medal for service. possibly slightly overpriced for the type of hotel but will stay again, just for the welcome
