Very friendly staff members who were only too happy to help with everything. Very comfortable bed and the room had more than enough radiators to keep the room warm. Excellent food and a lovely change from the bigger hotels

3 stars rather than 4 stars for me as some small issues detracted during my stay. Clearly well appointed and first impressions, including the welcome, very good. However, my room, large and in the annex, had lots of low, characterful but rather annoying after a while, beams. The hotel was also far too warm, soporifically so. The car park is... More

This is a Best Western hotel using an old building. The room was nice and comfy, but the motion sensor in the very modern bathroom a bit annoying in the night. Had a superb quality evening meal and breakfast the next day. Can't fault the superb attentive staff. Bus stops outside get a £4 all day ticket as I'm told... More

Well, what a wonderful experience! The receptionist (Lilla) was extremely efficient and clearly enjoys her job, nothing was to much trouble, she even opened the main hotel door on arrival and escorted us to our room, and later serving us with pre-dinner drinks. This young lady is clearly an asset to the hotel management. Our room was very clean and warm... More

This is a great hotel if you are visiting Bristol but do not want to stay in the city. The quality of the room we stayed in was excellent and in terms of cleanliness it was spotless. The staff are all lovely and could not be more helpful.

Business trip to Bristol. Unfortunately my business destination is not near any decent hotels. I tried Henbury Lodge as its in the BW chain and generally speaking they offer good value for money. Plus points , The staff, very helpful and polite, decent room (too warm), great shower, comfy bed, free parking and free wifi (slow). Not so good. Breakfast.... More

My wife and I stayed for one night and were taken to a large room with a lovely bathroom. We thought we had booked for room only, but when we came to check out, we discovered we had paid for breakfast. Although it was after the kitchen was closed, the staff were very kind and gave us breakfast. Not many... More

This was our second visit and again we really enjoyed our stay. This time we stayed in Room No 3 which was really spacious and comfortable with a queen bed and a single bed. The room seemed to have 3 cupboards but one was the toilet and basin and another was the bath, all with shiny new high quality fittings.... More

We enjoyed 3 nights stay here. Comfortable, quiet hotel, with welcoming friendly staff. Nice bedroom with comfy bed and excellent bathroom. Great breakfast. Our only complaint would be that the room temperatures were too high. We slept with window open each night, and left them open all day, which seems wasteful.

An attractive hotyel, providing traditional service at a very good level. Relaxing and friendly. The car park is only just big enough and a bit of a challenge, but all else is fine. A pleasant way to be just on the edge Bristol.
