Clean bathrooms, showers and rooms. I spent one month at Bristol backpackers while looking for a house in Bristol. Excellent location, nicer than other backpackers in town, but still gets a bit of noise at night from the street. Really accommodating staff.

It is misleading to call this a backpackers hostel as it is almost entirely a hostel for Spanish workers and students. Blocked toilets, bedbugs, dangerous electrics, shabby, unheated, dirty overcrowded kitchen, stoves don't work, food theft common, wifi keeps crashing, noisy drunks rampaging round building, staff often rude, barely speak English.
