Comfortable room, nice breakfast. I slept well although the room was a bit cold (on a warm April day). They were able to lend me a iron but not an ironing board - they suggested I use a towel. There was tea and coffee in the room.

This hotel is ideally situated for the Waterfront, Hippodrome, and Park Street. Quite large rooms, always clean, does tend to get a bit noisy with the clubbing guests on weekends, but cheap parking on site which is very handy. Food also good together with a small bar area.

Had an enjoyable stay, great location near to waterfront. Didn't eat there. Rooms basic, but clean. Unfortunately they couldn't get all our 3 rooms together and we were split between the 1st and 4th floors. You don't get a very personal service and not particularly welcoming. Also should get a discount on parking. However, good value and comfy night's stay.

I found the place made me cranky because they have cut all the amenities to the bone -- no phone, no Kleenex,no early baggage storage, no late baggage storage, terrible instant coffee, no free WiFi; was almost surprised to see free toilet paper! So you could end up paying a lot if you needed many "luxuries." However, staff are friendly and... More

Initial findings appeared clean tidy and friendly. This is a false impression of reality. We got our room which was clean, bathroom a little tired, chipped tiles etc but acceptable for cheap hotel. Chipped cups in room and no towels left, no phone in room meant trips downstairs to tell them. All our stay only one of 2 lifts working... More
