The 1970's called and they want their motel back !! Let's be honest upfront - the buildings & accommodation have seen better days. They look tired, have 'old' furniture & feel and the bedrooms really need some modernisation with peeling / faded paintwork and wood panelling that would be better used on a bonfire. As others have said, there's an... More

Overnight stay with my wife and children aged 14 and 11. On entering the room encountered a musty smell with bleach overtones. Further examination revealed a cavalier attitude to cleaning, especially around the wall mounted tv - ok, so perhaps I shouldn't have checked on high but it's a good barometer of the approach to cleanliness in my opinion. Should... More

A very tired and dated accommodation. Greeted by a musty smell when entering the room. Only one top window opened in the room, 2 in the bathroom. Could be very claustrophobic in the hot weather. Good and plentiful tea and coffee facilities in room. As per previous reviews well due for updating. Cigarette burns in carpet probably from the times... More

We booked this hotel for one night as we needed an overnight stay bringing our son back to Bristol for university. Yes the hotel is dated but good value and clean! For £65 you got a large room with a decent bathroom. The staff are very friendly and we had a very nice evening meal and breakfast was good too.... More

Stayed here as a family for two nights..rooms big but very basic and could do with being cleaner!bath panel all peeling away and heating never on so could be quite cold..This hotel offers itself as an airport stop over either on your way out or the late night flight home,if it's the late night flight home this would not be... This place is not the ritz but it also does not claim to be. Room was ideal for my one night stop over very spacious and clean. Facilities are spot on with a bar and eating area, loads of parking spaces and if your flying from Bristol (I wasn't ) it really is ideal. Staff very unorganised, but in a... More

My wife and I spent 1 night here for its proximity to Bristol airport, before a drive to Devon. Slightly tired motel-style accommodation with some noise intrusion from neighbouring units. Bed very springy rather than firm (reminded me a bit of that rhyme we sing our grandchildren - they all rolled over and one fell out :-)) However, filling breakfast,... More

This hotel is basic but very functional. We stayed in order to be close to the airport for an early morning flight and booked the room with airport parking and taxi transfers included. We had an undisturbed sleep and also ate in the restaurant in the evening. All in all recommended as a heap alternative to the more well known... More
