We have stayed at the Brigstow on quite a number of occasions, but unfortunately, as in the time before, we were disappointed. The hotel used to be very clean, but unfortunately our room and in particular beside the bed left a lot to be desired. White dust could be seen quite easily even though all it would of taken I'm... I stayed here this wk (August Bank) for 5 days as a short break away, and was very impressed with the staff and hotel. Lovely location right on the river front, with a river view on the 3rd flr (although the trees were blocking the river view) it was still a very nice hotel to stay in and would deffo... More

I stayed at the Brigstow hotel last week for the bank holiday. The location was excellent, right on the river bank. The hotel itself was nice, clean, decent decor etc and i had a superior room. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection. However the overall experience was poor. This was down to the... More

I stayed for week in July, and worked from the hotel. Great front desk, always helpful, excellent food and breakfast staff, well above many 4 star in quality. Really pleased they found me excellent parking for my SUV since NCP only fits smaller cars. I parked at sister hotel across the bridge, bette value than Bristol council parking too. All... More

My boyfriend and I stayed for one night at this hotel over the August bank holiday weekend. We found the hotel slightly tricky to find and drove in circles around town for a while and finally found the NCP car park located at the back of the hotel. The parking at this car park is expensive (around £20 for 24... More

This hotel is very good value for money in the heart of Bristol. I would stay again. The only downside is it can be quite lively in the bars near by and noise can be heard until quite late from outside

We stayed in Bristol for the Balloon Festival weekend. This hotel is in an ideal location, by the river and central for all amenities and attractions. The foo staff and service provided were all excellent.

I was very impressed with the Hotel. The staff were welcoming and efficient, the room very pleasant and the bed comfortable. Breakfast excellent - great Kipper!!!! Only slight negative was the need to park in the NCP - Hotel gave a 25% discount so 24 hours was £15.10. We were able to walk to shops and SS Great Britain easily... More

We spent two nights in the Brigstow, the second of which was in a superior room. I must say that the extra to upgrade is just not worth it as the rooms are the same size and you can not get twin beds in the superior rooms. Despite this I would stay in this Hotel again. The staff were very... More
