The hotel is well located in the heart of Bristol on a canal, near to stores, bars, restaurants and a market. There is a convenience store around the corner selling food, beer, etc. The staff at the hotel were very nice and very helpful. Check in and check out was hassle free. The room had everything we need it and... More

We recently stayed at the hotel for one night when visiting Bristol for one of the Summer Series concerts. The welcome we received was warm, and our room on the 4th floor with a view of the river was clean and well maintained. We ate lunch in the hotel restaurant and again received friendly service here. It is convenient to... More

We booked a river view room but on checking in asked for a quiet room. Were allocated 314 and 318 which are on the third floor out of 6. We got to bed quite late but at 7.10am we could hear all sorts of commotion going on in the street outside. The garbage truck reversed up the street and then... More

A little corporate but clean, comfortable, with large, well appointed rooms and good views. Have stayed perhaps three or four times and last time the balcony doors were restricted to just a few inches of opening which defeats the object of a balcony door. Bristol is a lovely city with an European feel and a 40 minute away escape from... More

We stayed for just one night in a privilege room and could not be happier. The room was stunning and the bathroom was gorgeous. Lovely balcony view from the 5th floor. The breakfast that arrived in the morning was delicious. All members of staff we had contact with were friendly, polite and very professional. We loved this hotel and we... More

We stayed here the night before the University of Bristol open day. We are two adults plus a 17 year old daughter plus a dog but they were very accommodating (two rooms) and the fact that the dog could stay was a bonus. Location wise, it's in a great spot, next to a lovely floating restaurant (glass boat?) but we... More

My wife and I visited this hotel on weekend break in Bristol on a room only basis and were not very impressed. I booked a classic room at £99.00 per night for two nights and was not very happy. On arrival at approximately 1.40pm we were told that our room was not ready, which was fair enough as book in... More

Having checked in and paid the bill up front for two people to stay in an executive room, next morning go down to breakfast to be told only one has paid. I pointed out that I thought it was a mistake and was told I had to pay for the breakfast. After speaking to reception I got the same response.... More

This is an elegant hotel at the front but a bit dirty at the rear. No parking availability. NCP car park charges £21.00 per night!! Rooms are elegant and well equipped with good comfortable beds. Seems the inclusive breakfast I booked was not included in the booking. I don't know who's to blame for this but I was unimpressed. All... More

We enjoyed our stay here. Room was a generous size, and well appointed. We were located overlooking rear car park, not nice view , but it made for a quiet night, so slept well except for an a fault with the fridge which kept flashing thru the night....it was too late in the night to report, so put up with...
