Booked room at last minute through a booking site only a couple of minutes before walking into reception. Helpful staff happily gave us a lovely room on the 6th floor. (Executive floor). The room was large, very clean with good storage area. Huge TV, IPOD docking station, sockets for laptop etc. Our room had a good view over the city.... More

Though I have stayed in many hotel chains this was the first time in a Holiday Inn for a long time...I had booked an executive room with king bed. On arrival ...although you have to eventually pay for parking at an NCP car park adjacent it is secure and subsidised to £12.50 per day. The room was outstanding and the... More

Got booked in here by my employer, as we were holding a conference in the hotel the following day. We usually only get to stay at Premier Inn type venues and so it was a treat to have something slightly higher-end. Very nice room, attentive staff and decent breakfast (I didnt see the bill, so have no idea how much... More

We stayed at the weekend, we chose the hotel because of the central location. Parking is adjacent to the hotel but it is a tight squeeze in some of the slots for bigger cars, as is the car park exit. The hotel decor is modern and well maintained, the rooms are well appointed, there are plenty of staff around to... More

Wanted a centrally located hotel with good level of service and this was mostly fine. Niggles first - bed very hard, no bath robes as advertised and 'chocolate' was a mars bar! Good points - room had good view of city skyline and was generally of a very good standard as would be expected of this type of room/tariff in... More
