Upon arrival we were 'greeted' by a woman who apparently didn't work here and actually worked for another hotel. She had just popped around for a chat! After chatting to us about how hot it is in here and what an absolute state this hotel is. (She said it was hot because she had just hoovered -strange enough because she... More

Room is as you expect however the bathroom is in need of an upgrade. Mould on ceiling, cramped space by the loo and the bath definately not sparkling white! Was surprised to find there no soap in there either? Had to ask at desk, I know the little things are what boost the cost but soap when you use the... More

I booked this two days before arrival and for £68 I feel I was overcharged. The young man on reception when I checked in was very friendly. Check in was trouble free. I had booked a family room for the extra space even though there was only two of us staying. I was disappointed when he told me it was... More

I'm not generally a fan off travellodges, as I find them basic and poor value . How ever, I had to write this review, just to say how brilliant the staff were here. All lovely, and couldn't do enough for you. A refreshing change for travel hotels. It made my 5 nights here very pleasant. Especially Jo, who's hard work... More

Extremely difficult to find. Same entrance as pub. Had to ask staff at Premier Inn where it was! Clean and warm. Could do with a lick of paint. Shower tepid in the morning but helpful staff promised reduction on next Travelodge stay. E mailed and received voucher for £30. Thank you staff and Travelodge. Fine for overnight stay.

For many years I would not stay at Travelodge hotels as I found them to be shabby and dirty. Then I stayed at the Clapham Junction and Balham hotels due to price and location and found them to be fine, they are advertised as having been refurbished. Also stayed at Waterloo hotel and this was very good. Anyway back to... More

Ideally located near to the M5! so near in fact that it sounds like you are sleeping on the hard shoulder. Actually I think I would have slept better on the hard shoulder. It's hard to imagine anywhere noisier - the constant roar of motorway traffic in my room through the night is (this review is written in real time... More

Stopped for 1 night at this Travelodge at the end of February and was really disappointed. The bathroom was dated and there were stains everywhere. The room itself felt old, the curtains had a hole in them & the wall underneath the window was covered in brown stains- I dread to think what the stains were a result of. Didn't... More

Being close to the M5, you can hear the passing traffic, but it is not loud. The lodge is clean and well furnished. One downside was the smell of cigarette smoke coming from one of the nearby rooms. This is not the Lodges fault but one of the guests. The good point for this establishment was the Harvester next door,... More

The travelodge is near to a Harvester pub which has loudspeakers on the outside wall of the pub on the side of the travelodge rooms. The music is so extremely loud, you can hear the beat and words of the songs in your room.
