Completely rely on location + window dressing to cover up for a badly- run hotel.service was appalling, a 'king double' was 2 singles pushed together,water was cold + rather than a new room We were asked 2 shower in a different one then return to ours! Lovely little hotel in Clifton. Stayed here with my boyfriend to visit some old university friends. I liked the free sherry and fruit in the room and felt very welcome by all the staff in the hotel. I stayed for one night on a work trip to Bristol. Its quirky and the bedrooms are small and there was a little mold in the bathroom. But its fun, the staff were great, food was great: try the scallops with ham hock and the breakfast was lovely. More
