We came as a last minute treat for our children before going back to school. The hotel location is great and our large clean room had a fantastic view over the Clifton suspension bridge, but was noisy at times as next to the lift. When we arrived the receptionist I think should have been full of smiles and welcomed us... More

Lovely rooms, fabulous outdoor terrace over looking the gorge and suspension bridge, hotel is perfectly located for Bristol City centre, plus from Clifton centre. Didn't hear any noise from outside, but noise from people passing in the corridor is noisy particularly banging doors at the lifts. Get up early for breakfast!

Mum & I stayed for two nights last weekend. We had a spacious family room with a bridge view. We were helped to choose the most appropriate room for us by receptionist, Marta, as we needed to be near the lift. The staff in the hotel were excellent, friendly & very helpful, especially Chris on reception when we arrived. A... More

This fantatic hotel with its view of the Suspension Bridge over the Avon Gorge has been known to me since I was a child born in Bristol. Now moved away we stayed their whilst revisiting my home city. We stayed over the weekend of the Bristol Ballon Fiesta and due to the hotel organising an early breafast were able to... More

Stayed for one night, wanted a location near the suspension bridge, couldn't get much nearer. Although we didn't have a view of the bridge (rooms with a view cost a bit extra) the room was lovely and has everything you need. The terrace has a view of the bridge and even though the weather wasn't good it was very nice.... More

we felt fortunate to get a last minute room here having cycled 70 miles. It is in a fantastic position with unrivalled views of the Clifton suspension bridge. The room was on the 4th floor, no view, no matter we had not booked. What surprised us was having to take our bikes up in the lift and have them in... More

Stayed here for 1 night during the balloon fiesta due to the location. Parking is very tight and only a few spaces up a steep slope but we did manage to get a space. The views from the terrace are amazing and the food at the hotel very good. We had a room on the top floor, bathroom very spacious... More

We stayed at the hotel 2 nights and found it to be very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. The cream tea was good value, but the more expensive version with sandwiches was rather pricy!

Only stayed here for one night but it was a charming hotel in such a lovely area of Bristol! The views from the hotel were great! Bedrooms were clean and basic! the staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Although the hotel could do with some updating here and there it's Great value for money!

Stayed 2 nights in 232 and 234 - both gorge facing. Nice rooms with great views, especially 234. Quiet - could only hear faint noise considering it was Friday/Saturday night. We woke up to hot air balloons floating across the sky-line. Staff we're very pleasant and helpful and the cafe seemed to be running much more smoothly than last time... More
