stayed at this hotel on a hen weekend, great hotel lovely decor. Rooms are very well decorated and lovely to have fresh milk and a bottle of water in the fridge with complimentary robe, this you can use to take to the spa where you can ask for complimentary slippers. Service at the hotel and spa is excellent, we asked... more

We stayed at the Aztec in February and again in June as we visit family in Bristol. The hotel has maintained its usual high standards of customer care and quality facilities. The staff were extremely friendly, our room was very comfortable and my wife had a couple of treatments in the spa which she thoroughly recommends. As the Sunday was... more

First (of many) stays at the Aztec in May 2009. All-in-all a good hotel in a convenient location (just off the motorway network) and with a lovely restaurant, bar and a large swimming pool. The rooms were nicely appointed and a decent size. I felt the cleaning left a little to be desired (I hate dusty lampshades!) on this occasion... more

Just returned from an incredibly good value Easter break at the Aztec Hotel and was really blown away. It is unusual to find an English hotel with English staff who are so well trained and responsive to guests needs. Fortunately I'd picked the hotel from Tripadvisor and had read what other posters had written so I wasn't horrified to find... more

I was in room 221 and I could hear the person above on the toilet which they used 3 times during the night. This was a pity as i found everything else including the staff excellent more

Just come back from a nights stay - fantastic. Not 'business' hotel as we'd thought. Great family hotel. Family room was very big - double bed and 2 singles, flat screen tv, immaculate bathroom, dressing robes, iron and ironing board (for you practical travellers out there!), fridge (with complimentary milk and bottle of water). Form to complete in room to... more

My sister got married at this hotel, the attention to detail that was given to the family and guests was fantastic - and we're very picky people!. Usually when I try and book a hotel as soon as I mention we have 3 kids 8,11 and 15 it's either no or you'll have to book 2 rooms here we had... more

Being a regular business traveller can be lonesome and tiring, but not at the Aztec Hotel. The rooms are spcious with a good work area and lounge/sofa area (so you're not stuck sitting on the bed all the time!), the team are one of the frendliest i've experienced in a hotel and the amenities are fantastic. Definatley somewhere i will... more

Although mainly a business hotel in a very urban setting - just off the motorway near large roundabouts and dual carriageways- this hotel caters equally excellently for visitors of all kinds. My husband first used this regularly on business trips and I, with our 2 children at the time, joined him one weekend to save him from having to travel... more

This was an impulse stopover, we walked in late and agreed a discounted rate for one night, double room with a baby in cot. It was perfect - gorgeous room with lots of nice touches from fluffy robes to funky mugs on the tea tray, and even fresh milk in the fridge, very handy for our son. Very clean, delicious... more
