Paid£10 for upgrade and room was best we had stayed in of this type and the staff were brilliant.Prices were a bit steep although you could get discounts at reception for meals .Food was super as was service. It is annoying that you have to pay extra for parking in the hotel car park and this was not mentioned when booking

We booked well in advance for a family event & managed to get an upgrade. Total price £51.23 per night. Very nice roomy room with a few treats from the manager after a little mix up that was very soon sorted. The high tea looked delicious but we didn't get chance to sample it - maybe next time. This will... More

Stayed here for business as could not get into the hotel of my choice that I had used for leisure once before so thought as it was in the location I needed that I would give it a go. Hot stuffy room with no Wifi in the room unless you pay! Water you have to pay for! Car parking £5.00... More

I have stayed here on two occasions in the last several weeks and on both occasions I have been disappointed. Firstly, checking in on both occasions took ages, secondly the rooms are not air conditioned and in the current heatwave go elsewhere if you want to be able to sleep. The rooms are simply too hot and stuffy. Thirdly, they... More

Dear Adrian S, Thank you very much for your review and feedback following your recent stay with us. It's hard for many venues in the current summer heatwave of a few weeks who do not have air-conditioning when for the rest of the year it's not needed. I am very sorry this did inconvenience you and spoilt your stay with... More

Hotel reception and front of house is laid out very well, nice bar and seating area to talk and relax, car park is free and secure. Rooms were quite stuffy as have no air cond or heating controls that I could find. The room felt a bit "tired" and dated, nothing exceptional or special about this hotel. It serves a... More

Quite tricky to get to at times during rush hour due to the sheer volume of traffic in the area, but if you know your way around you can avoid the heaviest of it. Plenty of parking at £5.00 per (bit of cheek if you ask me since no one else uses it). Hotel reception staff are very polite and... More

I have stayed in Hilton hotels from Helsinki to Singapore and always been satisfied until now. Friendly staff and nice bar/ lounge area, pool is reasonable as is breakfast however, the biggest disappointment comes from the rooms. I can't speak for every room however the standard double I stayed in for two nights had dated decor, loose power sockets on... More

Dear Edward G, Thank you for your feedback following your recent stay with us. I am sorry we did not meet your expectations on this occasion. I am familiar with the Hiltons in Helsinki and Singapore, which are major gateways Capital cities, and unfortunately the Hilton hotels in the more provincial locations and not as modern. However, we do make... More

I stayed for 1 night on a work trip and am an Honours member. The plumbing in my room was appalling. Only around 25% of the shower head was working, the tap ran slow and worst of all the toilet would only flush with me filling the tank with a kettle. Very poor

Stayed for one night last week and had a very good rate. Easy to find and get too. Check in is efficient and the hotel is only on two floors. Dear BandKNorfolk, Thank you for your review following your stay with us and I am glad you appeared to have enjoyed your overall stay with us, especially the breakfast buffet and dinner in Brunel's Hat restaurant.
