The hotel is in need of a refurbishment from the lobby through to the bedrooms, which all looks like it was last done in the 1980s. at £139 for just the room this is a very overpriced hotel. I ordered a newspaper at checkin and unfortunately this wasn't deliverd the next morning.

Dear Terence H, Thank you for your review. Whilst I appreciate your feedback, decor is such a subjective matter and it is hard to please evryone all of the time. The hotel restaurant, bar, lounge and majority of bedrooms were last refurbished in 2012 and the majority of feedback received has been extremely positive. I am sorry it does not... More

As a family we had an overall good stay here, a good deal on the well kept and very clean room and the staff were on the ball as well. Breakfast was fantastic value for money, but be aware that bar prices are high and you pay a fiver for the privilege to park in their car park overnight.

The service in the restaurant takes about an hour and a half longer than it really should do. Everything else was absolutely fine. This particular hotel is located about ten miles from the city centre, a taxi was £50.00 which is too much so you are almost forced to eat in the establishment. The quality of the food was fantastic,... More

Dear Q3949AHandyb, Thank you for you feedback and I am delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. I am sorry about the delay in the delivery of your dinner in the restaurant. This is clearly unacceptable and will be addressed with the restaurant & kitchen team. However, whilst we are 8 miles from Bristol City Centre with taxis costing around... More

Very good group rate offered; rooms clean, food and service in restaurant excellent. You need to validate your car parking ticket when you check in and then this lets you in and out at will - I wasn't advised this, so it helps to know it. Bar ridiculously expensive (£7 for a small glass of wine). Beds in our room... More

"Big" hotel, still with a cosy bungalow atmosphere. Generously sized rooms and a swimming pool that deserves its names. Only demerit was the breakfast that could have had a bit more fresh veg and fruit and be more vegetarian-friendly.

Dear Butzel1984, Thank you for your review and it was our pleasure to have welcomed you to the Hilton Bristol. I am delighted you enjoyed your stay and that you were satisfied overall. Lovely hotel, lovely rooms. Good food. Hilton Pizza's and burgers are good. The gym and pool in this hotel let it down. I have complained to front of house many times as I am a frequent hilton traveller. The gym is hot and humid and smells. It frequently has broken equipment too. On occasions the pool or spa havent been... More

Was a guest at a wedding here. Fantastic event and fantastic evening staff. Thankfully we had a private bar as the main bar was pretty busy with the presence of a visiting conference! Great staff, with cheerful attitudes.

We stayed at the hotel for one night with another family, the hotel is quite far from the city centre but easily accessible for the cribbs causeway shopping area which also has lots of restaurants and leisure facilities. I'd recommend it to those stopping over between journeys

You won't be disappointed if you plan on staying here. This is a upscale Hilton with tons of things to do. The room service is great. We arrived late and needed to get something to eat and was pleasantly surprised to find reasonably priced meals and even more pleased when the Hamburger arrived. They also have a good gym to... More
