The true rating of the Hilton Bristol is 3.5 and I rounded up because I had a good stay here. This was a nice hotel, nothing special, that made for a great stopover between our home and Plymouth, where we were heading to take the Plymouth gin tour. We stayed in what looked like a recently renovated room that was... More

This was booked as the luxurious last night of a week long holiday, the other nights being spent at a Travelodge, and it turned into a farce. Luxury hotel? This shouldn't even be awarded a star. Where to begin? Okay, there is a 'plus' side in that there's a pool and gym which were free to use for residents, but... More

Unlike some of the others who have submitted reviews my experience was somewhat reversed. On arrival I thought the entrance and reception looked very dated and unfriendly, with lots of wooden partitions dividing the central seating area into sections, and the receptionist was businesslike if a little impersonal. My room however was lovely. I had a double room and the... More

Dissapointed with the lack of luxury that you would expect from the Hilton, room was very tired although refurbished rooms were available at premium rate. No lift at the hotel. Staff helpful and the breakfast was good glad i booked this in with the room quite expensive to eat there and drinks were again expensive. Would not go back to... More

Excellent value week-end break. Hotel is in quiet location and yet only a couple of minutes from the M5. Room we had was really spacious and comfortable although a bit in need of a make over (refurbished rooms are available for a premium). Food and service were good in the restaurant - bar meals were a bit expensive. The hotel... More

Same feelings as others here. Lovely entrance, lobby and bar. Soon as you head to the rooms its a bit tired. Room wasnt too bad although only 2 singles but i knew that before booking. Tv didnt work properly which was really annoying during the football. Burger and chips in the bar was as expected and the beer was slightly... More

We booked a few hours before arrival and paid £60 from laterooms.com. Room was large with good decor, bed was a standard double which was small compared to other 4* double beds. Room service prices were really steep! Good overall. More

I have stayed at ths hotel a couple of times, the staff are always pleasant and the rooms are ok. I ate an evening meal in the resturant.... Once. The food was of a poor standard for the price paid so will avoid in the future. The bathroom is not up to scratch for a modern hotel. I will stay... More

Stayed here 27th December. Easy check-in and although was early room was ready. Plenty of car park space. Staff were friendly. Had the buffet dinner which was good value - stroganoff was excellent ! The gym was nice with plenty of machines to work out on and wasn't busy. Internet worked well in the room. Room was clean and bed... More

The Room and bathroom were clean and well furnished what let them down was the food and drink. There is nothing around locally so no alternative to eating in the hotel. The night I went only a buffet was available the main food lacked flavour, was over cooked and not much choice, they had failed to remove the deserts from... More
