Bad points The Shower was poor and there was .no air conditioning in our room, There was also no mini bar. There was also only 1 bathrobe. The reception staff were not polite. The cutlery was dirty in the restaurant. Good points Nice swimming pool and jacuzzi in the health club. OVERALL This hotel did not reflect the standard you... more

We held our wedding reception at the Hilton and it was the most perfect day! Right from the time we walked in and paid the initial deposit until the moment we checked out the staff where fantastic! The wedding co-ordinator was the best we have encountered in our search for the perfect venue for our big day! We could not... more

This hotel was a let down. At most hotels once you have checked in and walk past reception they greet you a good day. I was completely ignored on every ocassion that I past the reception staff. The house keeping staff were more friendly and helpful. We arrived to find our family room not prepared for the family and asked... more

Don't stay here. Why? 1. Not up to the HILTON name. 2. Far from town. 3. Pay for parking. 4. Service at the desk was ok AT BEST 5. Breakfast buffet was not well kept. Bits of food around the buffet tables. Had to wait to be seated. Felt very rushed. 6. Room window and sill had not been cleaned... more

I don't think this hotel is as bad as some reviews would have us believe. It is a way out of Bristol, yet extremely handy for the M5. I stay here quite often to break a long business trip from the north down to Devon. However my one issue is "room service", not just here but at hotels generally, although... more

Stayed here the night before a friends wedding as it was chepaer than the reception venue and it didn't disappoint. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer and use the gym facilities. Although, the drinks are extremely pricey at the hotel bar so it's probably a good job we weren't there that long! more

My husband & I visited for our wedding anniversary having booked in the January sale. After reading reviews on here I was somewhat anxious as to what we would find. We were pleasantly surprised. Admittedly there are areas of the hotel that need updating, the leisure club could do with an update but we couldnt fault the hotel in general.... more

Hard to believe that Hilton want their name above this place. Other contributors have likened it to Travelodge. I don't think even Travelodge would have the nerve to charge for parking on an industrial estate. Plus, if you want to leave the car park at 5.00 - 5.30pm on a weekday, you'll wait for ages as it seems most of... more

The hotel itself was fine, rooms fine, breakfast very good, pool good. The problem with the hotel is that on arrival at this hotel, a very long 7 miles outside Bristol, on the edge of a trading estate, one is greeted by a "take a ticket barrier" and a notice telling you that there is a £3 per night fee... more

I stayed at the Bristol Hilton recently on business in the area. Check in was ok but not quick. The rooms I found to be dismal - when will they ever learn that business travellers want double rooms and not twin rooms! Marriott can manage it, why not Hilton? The window ledges in my room were peeling and the bathroom... more
