Stayed here for one night on a business trip. The hotel location is excellent, less than 10 minutes walk from Bristol Temple Meads railway station and about 10 minutes walk from the Quayside which has lots of bars and restaurants. Check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and had complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water available. Also... more

I base all my hotel stay on their cleanness. I have to say this hotel is pretty much at the top. Therefore, my stay at this hotel is comfortable. Room, bathroom, elevator are all bit small, but it's clean. Free high-speed internet. Hotel is a ten-minute walk to train station. When you are walking a heavy luggage, that 10 minutes... more

Stayed here for one night whilst going to an Elton John concert. Hotel check in was good and quite speedy, they chap on reception was extremely helpful. Room was quite big, clean and to a normal Ramada standard, the bathroom was in need of updating though and if I am honest a good bleaching. The bar area was comfortable and... more

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a tame stag do. The staff were very friendly and helpful and convinced me to buy the 2 for 1 breakfast buffet which I'm glad I did. There was plenty of choice but not worth the £11 it should have been. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. Only minutes from the... more

I enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Jarvis/Plaza in Bristol. The restaurant in the form of an old kiln was lovely and the food (breakfast and dinner) was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean with all the facilities you would expect of a 4 star hotel. The location was good, allowing for a short walk into the city... more

We booked the night before we stayed here on a last minute low cost website and thought that something must be amiss as the rate we were offered was £69 for one night which seemed too cheap for a 4 star hotel, then I read some of the bad reviews here which I thought may explain it......... but I was... more

I stayed here for one night, arriving late in the evening. The receptionist was pleasant but maybe not very efficient as he added breakfast in even though it wasn't on my package. The room was a fair size but twin-bedded when a double for single occupancy had been booked - although as I was alone this was less important than... more

Spent two different nights in this hotel, nothing untoward to report, comfortable as with many in this chain some of the airchairs could have done with a good cleaning especially the armrests, but the staff were helpful and pleasant and I enjoyed my brief stays. Nice central position but the Satnav did have a bit of a problem getting there. more

Stayed at the Ramada for one night for £69 (booked through Ramada website). I booked this hotel because we wanted somewhere cental in Bristol and it has a 4 star AA rating. The location was the best thing about the hotel. We walked to Cabot Circus and it took about 10 minutes. However, there are lots of hotels much nearer... more
