2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed in room 16 and paid £70 for a double room. The room looked out onto a pretty disgusting looking derelict site. Looked clean - but did smell a bit. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and pillows were lumpy. We did not sleep well. Continental breakfast looked poor and scrambled egg provided was cold. Television in breakfast room... More

I stayed with 2 friends and we were pleasantly surprised that 2 of us didn't have to share a double bed (there were 3 beds!) Spotlessly clean, new carpets & newly decorated. Cosy and warm, noisy road but expected in central Bristol! Nice breakfast, it is of a continental style not a cooked English breakfast but that was ok with... More

Bed and breakfast is In bedminster area, which is run down but ok, booked through booking.com for £40 a night including parking. It's such a great deal. Rooms are warm and comfortable, if a little dark. Bed and duvet so comfy I had a great nights sleep. Breakfast is varied with many options; fruit, croissants, pastries, eggs, yoghurt etc Very... Although we thought parking was a joke( very tight and only about 8 spaces for 21 rooms) and on entry the place looked like a hostel, overall our room was of an excellent standard and possibly one of the cleaner up to date rooms we have stayed in all year. The area is not the greatest and we could hear noise... More

Lovely stay , quite and comfortable room . Great value for money, breakfast was lovely , plenty of selection . Customer service was excellent . Wasn't sure how our stay would turn out to be , but once we entered the room and reception everything was perfect . I would definitely recommend Malago and would definitely return here again .

Bathroom was mouldy above shower, shower curtain was dirty, the shower head wouldn't go high enough (shower hose was too short, and the bracket too low). Double glazing was a joke - the room was noisy as I could hear everything going on in the street below (and I was on the 3rd floor!) arguments, cars, doors slamming etc. Guest... More

Thank you for your review, we are sorry that your experience here was not to your satisfaction, we check and maintain our rooms on a regular basis, the broken window latches were awaiting a repair by the service engineer which has since been fixed......this didn't help the noise situation for you and we do apologise. Nice little B&B. Rooms were very nice, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Breakfast is continental, this was excellent. Its about 20 mins walk into the main area. Maps were supplied at the hotel giving information about the local area. Plenty of good resturants around the water a short distance away. Louise at the b&b was exceptional and very helpful throughout... More
