Such a shame but stay in this hotel spoilt by lack of air conditioning, no bottled water in the room (though offered a bottle on check-OUT!) and wi-fi that drops every few minutes. Service friendly, room spotless and comfy, excellent breakfast and great location but will definitely not recommend or go back. The comment form the hotel that air con... More

I find writing this review quite difficult to write as some aspects of this hotel are good. As stated in other reviews, the hotel is in the heart of the city, close to the attractions, bars and restaurants with free parking. We were given a superior room on the 4th floor on the front of the hotel which was a... More

A very well placed hotel for both the harbour and the shops. Complimentary car parking at the multi storey next to the hotel was useful. We were able to park up on arrival and everywhere we needed to go was within walking distance. Staff very friendly, attentive and professional creating a welcoming atmosphere. Room a reasonable size, quiet and comfortable.... More

Hotel looks nice enough but I (like other reviewers) found it impossible to sleep on account of the heat. No air con and if you open the window the noise from the road, revellers and seagulls keeps you awake. Doesn't matter how nice it looks if you can't sleep. Hugely disappointing for £120.

We visited the Bristol hotel (third time we have stayed here) for our son's graduation on 17th/18th July. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had an air conditioning unit in our room as on a previous visit it had been exceptionally warm and opening the windows meant that there was a lot of street noise. This time we... More

We booked for our daughter's graduation at the cathedral and to spend three days in the lovely city of Bristol. The location was perfect for the river (festival was on). Room a bit warm as no air con!

Stayed for one night at this hotel. Pro's: The hotel is of an excellent high standard, the bar and reception area are immaculate. parking in NCP car park next door is free, there is direct access from all floors to the car park. The hotel's location is ideal for the heart of Bristol, couldn't ask for better. Large, comfortable bed... More

We stayed, by accident, on the weekend of the Bristol Harbour Festival. We were shown rooms available by Mike Tavares who was honest about the possible levels of noise from the festival in the street below. However, we did choose a room on the 6th floor overlooking the harbour. The noise wasnt too bad, we used the air conditioning and... More

Stayed for one night after Glastonbury so was looking forward to a bit of luxury. Was quite surprised to see how small the room we booked was, picture on booking.com was very misleading. Very little room around the bed. Bathroom also very small and shower door was basically useless as water went straight through the gap at the bottom. On... More
