One night stay with work at Holiday Inn Express Bristol City Centre. Arrived at the hotel at 23h40 after arriving off the train from London at Temple Meads. The hotel is a five minute walk from the station. Check-In was straightforward, given a room on the first floor. Twin room, well equipped and clean. It was quite a muggy night... more

The hotel is a short walk away from the railway station and that is surely its unique selling preposition. In spite of being on a main road, traffic noise was not an issue - at least on the high floor that I had. Check in was very swift, flawless and perfect. The room was quite good for Express Hoilday Inn... more

One of the best hotels I stayed in during my UK trip. The rooms were extremely clean and well-appointed, with iron and tea service. The continental breakfast in the morning was very welcome as well. Staff was very friendly upon check-in, inquiring on my needs and phoning up a taxi to take me to the concert venue for the show... more

We have just returned from a two night break at the Holiday Inn Express in Bristol. The location cannot be beaten as its directly accross the road from Bristol Temple Meads train station and we found the hotel to be clean and the room comfortable, however, the double bed was way too small for two people. We noticed a slight... more

Arranged as an unexpectedly necessary stop to break a journey, this hotel came up OK pricewise - so it was booked without knowing where or what it was about. The GPS took us to the door - or it would have but the confusing approach and the tiny and elevated "Car Park' sign. Arriving at the the hotel was where... more

I have to start by saying that I usually avoid hotels operating under the Express Brand of Holiday Inn in the UK – mainly because I totally fail to understand why they don’t put baths in the bathrooms, other lodge chains manage to do so and also charge less. My stay at the Holiday Inn Express Bristol only made matters... more

On arrival at the hotel we were told that the secure hotel car park was full but we could park overnight at an adjacent public car park 20 yards away. Within one hour of parking our windscreen was smashed in an attempted theft and from the other piles of glass lying around the car park, this was obviously not the... more

Convenient location for city centre (about 10/15 mins walk). Reception staff very helpful with directions. Room was large & bright with huge bathroom, excellent walk-in shower. Plenty of choice at breakfast which was included in room price. Directions to the car park from website not very good - tells you hotel is opposite train station but not that you can't... more

I cannot understand negative reviews for this great hotel. I stayed here for one night on 27 Jan (going to a show at Colston Hall). Great location, friendly staff & great value for money, more of a leasure stay hotel, those bussiness types who want room service etc should try Novotel up the road! On check in the staff were... more

Good hotel. Nice, comfortable bedrooms. Secured parking. Breakfast was good and is included on the rate. Friendly front desk staff. Internet access is expensive: 10 pounds per day! more
