Is a nice, simple and basic B and B. It´s clean and it has a very comfortable bed. Good location, 15 min walking from town centre and 30 min from the bus station. It has got a good price for the condition of the room. The owner is very helpful and friendly

Me and my husband recently stayed here for a week,at the end of July 2015,while out granddaughter was in bristol children's hospital. We found it to be a lovely place with the rooms very clean and tidy, and our room had an ensuite ,where you had clean towels and the bathroom was fully functional and clean .the landlady chris is a... Although this B&B is pretty basic, it is very clean and the staff are very friendily and helpful. It's size is deceiving, we had 18 booked in for my daughter's hen do and there was plenty of room. The 2 triple rooms that were booked were very spacious. There are no nice views from the rooms as it is based... More

Our first impressions when we arrived at the front door of the Whitehouse was "shabby" The whole exterior needed a good overhaul. There was no-one in and we were waiting on the doorstep when the owner turned up to let us in to the premises. Our welcome was warm and friendly however, but we were surprised to be asked for... We are always sorry to hear from a guest who is unhappy about anything in our B&B, and to have this type of review is very unsettling. In this case we were not aware of the problems while the guest was staying, had they been communicated to us at the time, we would have endeavoured to sort them straight away.... More

First impressions were that this seemed to be a small but very friendly run B&B. The service provided was indeed great. The problem was no heating seemed to be on in the mornings! When we got back from a night out it had been on and the hotel was warm but by morning it was freezing! Great location for the... More

I would love to write a review for this establishment but sadly 3 days before we were due to travel, we received a phone call saying that due to a "leaking radiator" in our room that they would have to cancel our booking as the room wouldn't be "dried out" in time for when we would need it on our... As a family run business we take our responsibilities to our customers very seriously, and when the room became unavailable, due to plumbing problems (which were immediately sorted, but left the room needing to be dried out) we rang the customer. We also tried to find her alternative accommodation; found and offered at least two other B&Bs in Bristol -... More

Good value for money. I had a twin room. One of the beds was in poor condition and you could feel the springs otherwise I would have rated 5* hopefully this will be replaced. Other than that the owner was helpful and friendly and the accomodation was very clean.

I visited this guest house for 1 night with my friends. We rented 2 triple rooms. Advantages: -Rooms clean and tidy with new furniture and comfy beds. -Location- around 12 mins walk to the docks -Breakfast simple but good -Tea, coffee and kettle provided Disadvantages: -EVERYTHING creaks... although the building is not old, the floors an stairs creak like crazy...... Great for a short stay. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable and a good breakfast offered in the morning. Very welcoming hosts and approachable. Not the most soundproof of buildings but still a good sleep could be had. Would definitely use again and very pleased that we found it.

100% recommended venue to rest your head and wash away your stench after Bristolian drinking abuse. The staff and owner (I think the lovely older lady is the owner) are perfectly welcoming and approachable and the rooms an other areas are perfectly clean. Don't expect the Ritz for the price you probably paid but the bathrooms are adequate and clean... More
