You can walk down from the national express bus stop and is right on the water. It's near all the bars and clubs (walkable) and is the budgeter choice. Really clean and neat dorm rooms, very cheap and breakfast is included. Not the best eggs but you know you don't have to eat them. All and all, really good!

I stayed here for one night in a private twin room. While the room wasn't spacious it was enough for our brief stay, especially considering we didn't spend much time in it as it was easy to go into the centre of Bristol from the hostel. Their was a sink in the room which was useful and very convenient, the... More

The good: -Unbeatable location for the price. -The breakfast (although it was a little steep at five pounds, there's a good selection). The bad: -My bed hadn't been made up since the last person had slept in it. They had left Revels in the bed. I didn't notice and woke up with chocolate on my PJs. Grim. -Loo roll in... More

Stayed for one night in a 4 bed single sex room with a friend, two other girls also in the room. Room was fine, nothing fancy but did the job happily. The toilet and shower were separate which is good. The shower room was a bit challenging in that there was limited apace to put clothes where they wouldn't get... More

This was an excellent hostel. Friendly staff, great facilities including games room and enough lounge space for all in this massive warehouse conversion. Bristol is a lovely and vibrant city and this is a great base from which to explore it. The restaurants, bars and cafes near the hostel are great and even those within the hostel are fab.

The hostel was in a fantastic location. I found it clean, lively, with good amenities and friendly staff. On the down side, during my five nights in a female four bed dormitory two of them were spent with a man. I queried this and had to be a little persistent before the receptionist admitted that men had been booked in... More

As always YHA Bristol was excellent. Fantastic location in the most picturesque part of Bristol. Excellent value for money and our room for 4 was a good size. Ensuite facilities were also good. I always recommend YHA and this one was no exception.

The staff are very friendly, and the location couldn't be better. I was in a dorm, and probably won't do that again as 2 guys were snoring really loudly, but it was cheap. The place looks fairly modern and clean and tidy. Has a lock up for bikes in the basement which was great.

Stayed in single private room which was small but clean and fresh. If you get put on the 5th floor there is one flight of stairs after the lift you need to carry luggage but it is much brighter up overlooking roof tops. Unfortunately wifi didn't work in rooms only common area downstairs. Each room has its own wash sink,... More

I stayed here for two nights whilst I was at the Bristol Vegan Festival. It is a busy and bustling hostel with a lot going on round it. It is probably not the best place if you are looking for peace and tranquility- e.g., if you are sat in one of the nice communal areas, you will have to get... More
