Want to be in the City Centre, then you are here. The rooms are basic but clean, 2 bunk beds to a room sleeping four. You also get a separate shower and toilet. At £22.50 each for four in a room it cant be bad, but I still don@t understand why they issue you with only one key between four.... More

I stayed here last weekend while at a festival in Bristol. We had a 4 bed room with ensuite. It had bunkbeds, was a good size, had a bathroom and separate shower room. The room was clean and the beds were comfy. The shower door was a bit gross but nothing too major. Best bit about the hostel was the... More

I spent three nights in this hostel.I stayed in a four bed room, tidy and clean, with the toilet and a huge shower room. YHA Bristol is located in the city center, close to every attraction. The team is kind, helpful and friendly. I've stayed in several hostels, but this is the best I've ever been:cheap, clean, tidy and with a friendly team. But ther's a negative thing:if... More

Stayed here for one night this week. It was functional for the purpose of the visit and in a nice safe area whether on your own or in a group. Plenty of eating places close at hand. The staff here are the best i have experienced in any hostel, very friendly and helpful(15/10).The room was on the 5th floor(single) and... More

We stayed as a group ins six bunked room, clean, basic and ideal for our needs. Rooms are situated in an old warehouse. Toilet and shower facilities just along the corridor and a sink in the room. Security was good, swipe cards to access each floor and room. A little noisy at times over night as the revellers returned but... More

Stayed one night in Bristol, chose this hostel because of location, had no previous experience with YHA. This hostel was so good, clean, beds and rooms ok and much better than hostels I experienced before with good value. Must be even good for longer stay. Since then I have always looked for YHA and never been disappointed so far.

I stayed at the Youth Ostel just for one night, so I did not get the chance to hang out so much. The guy at the reception was pretty friendly to me. The lift was working only until the third floor, but no big deal. The room was really nice for only £15: four beds and en-suite! I found some... More

Here for a stag weekend so we were looking for good location and value for money. The location is perfect in the centre of Bristol. Good night sleep. Rooms were very warm though. It is quite basic but he facilities were good. This is a popular and very busy place. Overall good value.

This hostel is brilliantly positioned for exploring Bristol and its location on the waterside is a real plus point. The rooms are good, and the beds were made up on arrival which was very welcome, but rooms quite possibly get quieter as you go further up: there are 5 floors, with a lift that goes as far as the 3rd... I stayed in Bristol YHA for 2 nights just after Christmas. It was clean, friendly and extremely good value. I chose this hostel because of its location (in the centre of Bristol, down by the harbour) and because I have never yet been disappointed by YHA. I was in a 4-bed female dorm, and my boyfriend in a 4-bed male... More
