Enjoyed one night stay. Friendly staff and good value. Had an executive King room which more than met our needs. Enjoyable buffet breakfast at reasonable cost. Situated centrally in pretty village of Woburn.

You walk into a hotel and what do you see? Rows of computres, receptionist all busy with said computers and they look uo and greet you and then after much tapping they tell you where your room is. Not at this hotel. You walk through the doors and there are 2 desks, with people behind them to smile and look... More

Visited last weekend for two nights on a cold windy Friday! We were welcomed by staff who could not do enough for us... Highly recommend the accommodation to anyone wanting a quiet weekend break with tasty food which came from a varied menu. Room warm and comfortable and it was spotlessly clean! My grandchildren joined us for two meals which... More

Stayed at this hotel in one of the separate chalets for a couple of days whilst attending a wedding at the Abbey. The place is easy to find and the parking is easy (although the access is very narrow). The chalets are recommended if you are there for a while and have time to kill, with a separate living area,... We needed to be in the area to visit an ailing relative, so plucked this hotel out for a three day Christmas break. I persuaded a family group of six to share it with us. It was a delight. The hotel is relatively small and modest, but very tastefully decorated throughout. The rooms were warm and welcoming and very comfortably... More

We were accommodated in THE CHINESE ROOM -. As it was December we were most pleased to feel the warmth as we entered the room, bedside lights were on and Roman blinds were 'down '. There was bottled water ( 2 ). and as there was no Mini bar a note asking us to call Reception should we need ice... More

Just one night after a function. I always think places that give rooms names rather than numbers are rather pretentious, especially when they are humdrum. I stayed in Humphrey Repton, so I hope he didn't mind. He was OK for one, a bit on the small side for 2. Complicated shower controls that I struggled to turn off, despite the... More

When I had my first glance at this hotel, I thought it was a palace! The inside was even more amazing! The staff were polite and friendly but some of them didn't speak much English but that was okay. The food was sublime and the rooms were so spacious. The brekfast had plenty of choice as well.

My friends booked a festive afternoon tea as a birthday surprise celebration. The service was friendly and attentive and we were left to talk (and laugh) with the knowledge that we could call for service if we needed it. The food was good although I would have preferred at least one more sandwich each. The scones were the most delicious... More
