We stayed in the little house for 6 nights at begining of the shoulder snow season with our 2 young kids. It was hard to find a 2 bedroom with kitchen but was still rated 4 star. This place was self rated on wotif as 4 star, but is about 2.5 to 3 star max. Thought a B&B in the... More

Bimblegumby is a special place. Eclectic, warm and full of surprises, this is an enchanting place to stay. Just outside the Kosciusko National Park and just 15 minutes from the Ski tube on the Thredbo road you have every option at your door if skiing is your thing. But Bimblegumby has more to offer than easy access to the snow... More

What a wonderful place, the hosts cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. It's like visiting your favourite holiday cabin, with friends you've been holidaying with for years. Space to relax, space to sit in the sun, or the shade and enjoy some quiet time and read a book or just gaze at the beautiful surroundings.

We enjoyed 3 nights at Bimblegumbie, chosen because it was dog-friendly, and found it exceptionally welcoming and comfortable. It was a bit like staying in friends place because we had full use of the house, kitchen and grounds, all with our dog, as he would be with us at home. The garden was an utter delight, green lawns, overflowing garden... More

We were delighted when we arrived at Bimblegumbie to find wallabies on the lawn, daffodils in the garden, and our cute, eclectic cabin awaiting us. The children were thrilled with the Loft in the Bungalow and entranced by the sculptures and treasures in the garden. Everything we needed was here. We felt warm and welcome and so much at home.... Last weekend my family enjoyed another wonderful weekend at Bimblegumbie. My first stay at Bimblegumbie was in the winter of 1986. Nothing changes. The solitude, warmth, hospitality, service, rustic and cosy atmosphere are all the reasons we still return to Bimblegumbie after almost quarter of a century. Nothing is too much trouble for host and owner of Bimblegumbie, Prudence Parker... More

Had a wonderful weekend in the snow, but the best part was unwinding in the lodge by the open fire. Every room was inviting and full of history. Bimblegumbie seems to evolve itself every time I go. Love the Installation artworks in the rolling gardens and when the snow fell, it looked like Alice had left her party in the... More

Lovely to have you come and visit again and to experience the snow... Even after many years, it is always a great sensation to wake up to a snow covered world... It certainly does take on a new dimension and puts the "icing on the cake" or the installations and artworks around... and it is always a joy to share... More

Found this place on a last minute decision to head to the snow, was delighted to find Titan (OUR BELOVED DOG) could come as well . The place was beautiful warm and clean when we arrived at 1am. Woke up to explore the beautifully set out gardens with all sorts of sculptures and oddities. Breakfast was great then off to... More

Thank you very much for your remarks and I will remember your daughter disappearing for that great photo shot she was searching for and also for all of us searching for the Tawny Frogmouth Owls that eluded us during your stay... They do change their tree everyday... Look forward to seeing you again sometime and to your photographic delights. All... More
